I will start this off by saying this is my second car purchase through this Ford dealership. My first vehicle purchase was flawless and the whole reason I went back to purchase a second vehicle. I purchased a Ford Explorer 2020 in February 2024. about a month and a half ago my transmission went out and after a bunch of fiasco and being told different things by different people I finally was able to find out that I did have the lifetime powertrain warranty and that I was covered. I took my car in June 30 give or take a day and they have not started the repair as far as I know as of now today’s date. I was told 5 to 14 days for a transmission repair is what it usually takes on average. I was told no loaner cars. They don’t have a loaner program anymore, but then I was then told that they would look into getting me a rental and would try their best to give me a rental or a loaner vehicle. well, so far I’ve not gotten help on either department and me and my fiancé and my two children have been using one vehicle and really don’t have the means to go and get a rental on their own as of right now, so therefore the dealership helping me out with this would have been a huge plus, especially with how long this is taken and all the crap that I’ve been told and had to endure through this process. I’m very unhappy this time around with the customer service and pretty much being told many things by multiple people there’s been a struggle to use one vehicle this whole time and to be told different things and different dates by individuals. *UPDATE* Well this morning I was contacted by Eddie from poway ford, and he ended up helping me and fixed the issues i was having. I appreciate him helping me get a rental and gave me the set completion date for my repair. I appreciate the extra effort to help come to a resolution time!

I am writing this review specifically for Mike Tinsley, the Service Manager at Aaron Ford Escondido. I have had trouble with other less attentive Service Managers here before. However, Mike was extremely helpful and attentive to the utmost degree. He treated my car troubles like his own. Provided solutions to my truck trouble and worked with the third party extended warranty company to have my service fully covered by them. The team fixed and left my truck in great condition. Could not have asked for a better Service Manager!

They even called me right back when we were disconnected. Repairs went quickly and were covered under warranty. Again I am very pleased with the service and everyone I dealt with at this dealership.

Over the years, I’ve worked with many dealerships—but none compare to this one. Not only did they offer me a great price on my car, they also went above and beyond to accommodate several special requests, including switching out snow tires for all-season ones and addressing battery concerns. Every time I visit, Louis, the service manager, greets me with warmth and provides exceptional customer service—the best I’ve encountered. The kind gentleman in the parts department even replaced my battery at no charge and generously gave me an extension for the back seat, again free of charge. I have been going to this dealership since I moved out here, about 6 years, and I have not had a negative or frustrating experience once... I started out working with Malachi for my '21 F-150 and 18' Escape. he took impeccable care of me and the truck, accommodated my needs, and addressed every single concern I had while line itemizing them on my invoices. he ended up moving to a different dealership and recommended that I go to Christian from that point forward. I have only had the opportunity to work with Christian once since then, and if first impressions hold weight, I am in very good hands. He is very friendly and to the point. although my first interaction with him was a simple service, I was very happy with the overall experience, and will be seeing him again soon for recalls and a/c issues, so I will update my review after my next visit. overall, I have used KG purchase dept, service dept, and sales dept. and again, have not been disappointed. Everyone has been friendly and caring.

Corning Ford is the best dealership I have ever been to. There was quite a few people there when I arrived but I was out of there in less then an hour and I didn't have an appointment. I know now the reason why is was crowed, because of their prices and how friendly they are. They were able to program my fob $45.00 cheaper then other places. Not only was the price cheaper then anyone else, they also reprogrammed the old fob that I thought was broke for free. They updated my system all for $140.00. Plus they allowed my dog to come in and everyone was so nice to both me and my dog. I will never take my car to anyone else. And when I decide to trade my car in for newer one, Corning Ford is the place I will go. I drove 2 hours to go to Corning Ford.
