I am submitting a formal complaint regarding a deeply concerning and unethical experience at one of your Kia dealerships. The conduct I encountered reflects serious issues with this dealership’s integrit concerning and unethical experience at one of your Kia dealerships. The conduct I encountered reflects serious issues with this dealership’s integrity, service standards, and compliance with ethical sales practices. On my recent visit, I returned with my 2021 Kia Seltos SX after having the turbo replaced under warranty. Two weeks later, I brought the car back due to a hissing noise, expecting a simple follow-up adjustment. I chose to wait on-site while the vehicle was inspected. Instead of receiving information from the service department, I was contacted by a sales representative, Elijah Mahogany, who informed me that repairing my car would be “extremely expensive.” Without speaking to service, he immediately attempted to move me into purchasing a new vehicle. He claimed they could match my current payment and encouraged me to test-drive a 2025 Kia Seltos and a Kia Sportage. At no point was I given any explanation from service regarding what was wrong with my car. When the dealership later realized that my credit profile would not allow them to meet the payment they originally promised, the situation escalated into something completely unacceptable. Instead of transparency, I was advised—by multiple sales associates—to voluntarily repossess my current vehicle in order to qualify for a new one. Let me be clear: No legitimate dealership should EVER encourage a customer to destroy their credit, lose their vehicle, or take on serious long-term financial harm simply to meet a sales quota. This is predatory, unethical, and a direct violation of customer trust. It is also an abuse of the Kia brand and reputation. After I refused their aggressive and misleading sales tactics and insisted on knowing what was actually wrong with my car, the sales staff abruptly backed off and told me I could return to service. Only then was I informed that my car was ready—and that the repair was free because they had been fixing their own prior mistake. This means the entire sales pitch was based on false information or deliberate misrepresentation. When I entered my vehicle, I discovered another customer’s keys left in my cupholder. Additionally, I was given the wrong multipoint inspection sheet, which inaccurately stated that I urgently needed brake pads. When I notified the service advisor that I had been given someone else’s inspection sheet, I never received a response. When the correct sheet was eventually provided, it showed that my brake pads were not in need of service at all. These issues indicate a clear lack of care, professionalism, and accuracy—and raise concerns about whether customers are being misled or improperly advised for profit. The combination of: • false or exaggerated claims about my vehicle being “unrepairable,” • pressure to purchase a new vehicle under false pretenses, • encouragement to pursue voluntary repossession, • providing incorrect customer documents, • and leaving another customer’s keys in my vehicle is completely unacceptable and dangerous. I am requesting that Kia Corporate investigate this dealership’s practices immediately. No customer should be exposed to this level of manipulation, dishonesty, and disregard for basic ethical standards. More

Worst car experience ever! Kia was broken into, window smashed, striking wheel was ripped apart, the dealership was only concerned about the payment of the damage. There was Kia was broken into, window smashed, striking wheel was ripped apart, the dealership was only concerned about the payment of the damage. There was no concern or sympathy about the customer. Towed the car back to the dealership since they wanted me to pay for the damages out of pocket. Kia of Greenway is a joke! More
