We had one of the BEST experiences here at North Bay Ford. Service was AMAZING. The sales team was the EASIEST to deal with and the customer service was top notch. I've dealt with lots of dealerships over the phone through text and calls but Morgan was kind, honest and super helpful. There was NEVER any pressure to purchase a vehicle, it was always straight forward and honest. The financial team worked hard to get us a great deal and when another deal came in that was better, they immediately let me know and celebrated our win each step of the way. Purchased a 2025 Escape ST-Line I came in to test drive the 2025 Escape ST-Line after doing some research. Eric welcomed me and connected me with Miguel, who was excellent—he listened to what I needed, respected my budget, and made the process smooth. After the test drive, I made my best and final offer and made it clear I wasn’t interested in hours of negotiating. They respected that and gave me a fair deal—no pressure, no hassle. Finance with Brian was just as easy. He was professional, didn’t push extras I didn’t want, and kept everything efficient. While my experience was great, I did observe another customer nearby being pressured pretty heavily by a different salesperson, which was uncomfortable to watch. That said, I highly recommend Miguel and Brian if you’re looking for a stress-free, respectful buying experience. Side note: I recently brought in my dad’s truck for service and worked with Jonathan—he was great to work with as well. Solid experience all around.

My search for a specific Ford Maverick led me to Ken Grody Ford Carlsbad, and I’m so glad it did. I have a 9 to 5 job and couldn’t take calls or visit during the day, so I worked with Angel entirely over text. He was professional, transparent, and incredibly patient, especially since the online listing didn’t show actual photos of the vehicle. He made sure I had all the details I needed before making the 45-minute drive. Even though I arrived at closing time, Angel and team treated me with warmth and respect. We wrapped up final pricing in person. I then met with Tristan in finance, who took time to get to know me before diving into paperwork, which really stood out. We finished up around 9:30 PM. Angel stayed the entire time, installed my temp plates himself, and made sure I left with a handshake and a smile. This has to be one of the best dealerships I have worked with. The sales staff was friendly, and at no time, were they pushy, aggressive, or just trying to make the sale. The finance dept was the same. I traveled in from outside the local area. They worked with me to find the right truck, had it ready for test drive when I arrived, and took an extended amount of time to explain all aspects of the truck when I bought it.

I don’t know if the splash guard is removed during an oil - JAME_PROSSER

I don’t know if the splash guard is removed during an oil change service, but the splash guard fell off the car the day after the service. Grant got a person to drive out to where I was and remove the guard so I could drive the vehicle; and on Thursday it was reinstalled. Even if not removed as part of the service, it’s hard to believe it did show signs of being loose or that it wouldn’t be tightened as part of general maintenance. Then there were the lug nuts. Ford lug nuts are notoriously bad. Mechanic said nuts were swollen and could not rotate tires. No reduction in price. Oh yea, Carlos was the young man who drove the maintenance van out to get me up and running. He was very polite, knowledgeable and helpful. I did not deal with anyone other than Grant and Carlos. Lastly, I don’t believe the law allows you to apply a “service charge” to the bill if you pay by credit card. Check with your legal dept.

I will start this off by saying this is my second car - jjweedman95

I will start this off by saying this is my second car purchase through this Ford dealership. My first vehicle purchase was flawless and the whole reason I went back to purchase a second vehicle. I purchased a Ford Explorer 2020 in February 2024. about a month and a half ago my transmission went out and after a bunch of fiasco and being told different things by different people I finally was able to find out that I did have the lifetime powertrain warranty and that I was covered. I took my car in June 30 give or take a day and they have not started the repair as far as I know as of now today’s date. I was told 5 to 14 days for a transmission repair is what it usually takes on average. I was told no loaner cars. They don’t have a loaner program anymore, but then I was then told that they would look into getting me a rental and would try their best to give me a rental or a loaner vehicle. well, so far I’ve not gotten help on either department and me and my fiancé and my two children have been using one vehicle and really don’t have the means to go and get a rental on their own as of right now, so therefore the dealership helping me out with this would have been a huge plus, especially with how long this is taken and all the crap that I’ve been told and had to endure through this process. I’m very unhappy this time around with the customer service and pretty much being told many things by multiple people there’s been a struggle to use one vehicle this whole time and to be told different things and different dates by individuals. *UPDATE* Well this morning I was contacted by Eddie from poway ford, and he ended up helping me and fixed the issues i was having. I appreciate him helping me get a rental and gave me the set completion date for my repair. I appreciate the extra effort to help come to a resolution time!
