My most recent visit involved an oil change & replacement of the cabin air filter. My Mustang was without an appointment on the day I called. My service advisor, Tiffany Waul checked me in without delay & answered a ffew questions I had. My car was ready for pickup within 2-3 hours & the shuttle van picked me up from home. The checkout payment process was quick & efficient. I have always experience very good service at Upper Marlboro Ford.

Was very impressed with the vehicle as displayed on the web and even put paperwork in sight unseen. It took an additional 4-1/2 hours to finalize everything. Upon arrival the vehicle was parked in front and ready for a test drive. While you would think knowing we were coming in that morning that they would prep the vehicle to showcase it in the best way, This was not the case. A layer of dust was all over the vehicle, making it difficult to walk and review the vehicle. While I understand that this is a used vehicle the passenger door was missing its lock actuator. (Dealer promised to order and install) The mirrors needed to be swapped out, because one didn’t work. The middle rear brake light was broken but operational. (Dealer promised to order and install) The rear door rubbed and made noise when opening, until I adjusted the door. The passenger windows glass is scratched, along with the trim. Again I understand it’s a used vehicle! The Carfax is clean but the front lights have scratches that are consistent with damage from an accident, which I am going to have to replace. There was no movement on the price and I left $600 on the table with my trade. While some will say that’s my fault you are correct. But the vehicle was not purchase ready. Which was disappointing. This is my 2nd used vehicle purchase and I should have done a better job reviewing the vehicle. I don’t regret the purchase. Just feel that with the items we have found after taking it home, that the price should have been adjusted to accommodate these out of pocket expenses.

In July 2025, shortly after purchasing a brand new 2024 Bronco, this dealership chipped the paint during emblem removal and did not disclose it. I discovered the damage myself. On July 25, they took the vehicle back to correct it. Before delivery, I specifically asked via text whether the paint had dried because the turnaround felt unusually fast. Vijay Krishna confirmed it was dry enough to reinstall the emblem. General Manager Lee Brooks also stated I would “need a magnifying glass” to see the issue because the correction had been done so well. The vehicle was delivered with the paint chips still clearly visible. No paint correction had been performed. The Bronco emblem was installed sideways in a way that partially covered the damage. Because work had been represented as completed when it was not, I withdrew consent for further repairs. I was later told the dealership would cover third-party paint correction. They are now denying that agreement and claiming the matter is closed after providing only $350 for “inconvenience.” That amount was discussed as compensation for the repeated trips and disruption — not for paint repair. No reasonable person would accept $350 to correct chipped paint on a brand new vehicle. Screenshots and photos are attached. If you are considering purchasing a vehicle or authorizing service here, document everything in writing. My experience involved undisclosed damage, representations that repair work had been completed when it had not, and a refusal to honor what was agreed.

RE: Collision center. 3 -5 time frame to replace a rear bumper took 8+ days. We had to call as the body shop never contacted us regarding the delay. They said an ordered part was wrong, but didn't know until 6 days after drop off. In person visit yielded no further explanation. Will NEVER use this collision center again. A simple courtesy call regarding the problem would have been much appreciated, but apparently there is no concern for customer service with Ciocca

DARCARS has turned what should have been a routine warranty matter into a masterclass in chaos, incompetence, and customer neglect. Their service desk seems unable to manage paperwork, communicate updates, or perform the most basic administrative tasks without making the customer pay for it—literally. In December 2025, I was forced to rent a car because of Ford warranty issues and because DARCARS refused to provide a loaner vehicle. Conveniently, the rental option they offered was $80 per day, just high enough to exceed Ford’s $60-per-day reimbursement cap. That kind of pricing raises obvious questions. To date, I am still $300 out of pocket because DARCARS lost my rental receipts, then somehow failed to process them even after I submitted them again. After seven separate follow-ups, they still cannot—or will not—file the paperwork properly. At some point, “mistake” stops being a believable excuse. From where I stand, this looks like deliberate obstruction dressed up as incompetence. Whether it is retaliation for securing my own rental instead of theirs or simply a breathtaking level of dysfunction, the result is the same: the customer gets burned while DARCARS plays dumb.

We had bought our F150 back in 2021 at Plaza Ford. At that time they were terrific and Ford X Plan purchase capped any “ not required by law” doc fees at $150 or less. Originally we were going to purchase our Florida car in Florida because it was easier and less stressful (we live in Florida 6 months and MD 6 months) . My buddy who is a Plaza Ford fan said “ oh buy from these guys instead, they’ll do so much more for you than a Florida dealer “ Fast forward to the deal: they were very rigid as to the dealer doc fees. On the contract it states “ not required by law” but try and get out of paying it…it’s an entitlement that MD allows them to charge. It’s actually an optional dealer fee sort of like a tip. They could charge $0 or $800 allowed by MD. It gets taxed so it’s additional profit for them not a requirement. When I dared to get this dealer charge discounted it was like I was being unreasonable ( in 3 past deals I simply asked for a discount $799 in my case off the bottom line). ** Don’t bother with Plaza Ford, something has changed in the past few years and writing the owner who did not respond, tells me lots-can’t be bothered with me. I was ready to be a loyal Plaza Ford customer. I was talked into buying from them. We drove many miles out our way to buy at this dealer. In hindsight, all the fees and add-ons made this deal costly. Truth is that there’s nothing special about them over any other Ford dealership. It’s a pity because my last experience with Plaza was better. ** a document fee is an arbitrary fee that some dealers charge. In California they are capped at $95 not $799 so—it’s a a profit center for them. Don’t make my mistake, early on ask for no doc fee or a corresponding discount on the bottom line to match that fee. This can be done and I have on 3 car deals successfully. It’s too late for me at Plaza Ford but not you. Be prepared to walk if they tell you “ everyone pays this” .

I bought a used car from this place and they told me that would have it detailed before I come to pick it up. I gave them ample time because I told them I could not get a ride right away, that it would be a few days. But when I got there to pick it up, all they did was wash the car and vacuum the interior. Didn't even bother to wipe down the interior or sanitize anything. I know this because there were dirt and stains on all the controls. I CAN'T BELIEVE THAT DURING THESE TIMES THAT A DEALERSHIP WOULD ALLOW A VEHICLE THAT WAS SOLD; NOT BE CLEANED INSIDE AND OUT. AT LEAST THEY COULD HAVE USED A SANITIZING WIPE ON ALL THE INTERIOR.
