I wish I’d would’ve known back when I first stepped into Subaru of Pembroke Pines that my view on vehicles and service would change forever. And it is no wonder since I was greeted by Julio Campos. I remember back in 2020 after I was “forced and hustled” into buying a car at another Subaru dealer, a WRX to be specific, (not that I disliked the car but I wanted a STI) I came in search for an STI at Subaru of Pembroke Pines just to “look around” Julio took me in just as any other customer and he took care of me as someone would take care of a friend. We drove the STI and he did a blast of comparisons between trims to help me better understand what I really wanted; weeks later on October 2020 I walked out the dealership not only with a brand new Subaru STI but I walked out knowing I was in good hands and I got the best deal, customer service, attention to detail and foremost a great friendship.
After a while I’d visit the dealer for service and just to poke around Subaru’s products (I’m a car enthusiast)
My wife used to be a loyal Toyota customer specially with the RAV4 but I took her to Subaru of Pembroke Pines for when I had to take my car for service and Julio worked his charm and she became a Subaru enthusiast. We were eager to buy a new family vehicle with an incoming baby back on 2023; sadly 2023 was a financially tough year but Julio knew our needs and he trusted that we would come through and he still gave us his time, energy, customer “top notch” service and friendship and he introduced us to the Subaru Outback - my wife loved the Outback wilderness - so we came through and on 2025 we got a brand new Subaru Outback wilderness. In here I want to mention that in currently looking for a work vehicle - a pick up to be more specific we went to check out the new Tacoma and we were just looking but we were mistreated at Toyota if North Miami the sellers even told us “come back once you have a good down payment” from that moment I knew my vehicle brand was Subaru and my personal salesman was Julio Campos. Even if Julio were to work for another brand I’d follow him but I know he will stay at Subaru and that enhances our loyalty to the brand.
About the story of the purchase of the Outback. My wife and I were finally ready and we reached out to Julio, he made the impossible possible on terms of making time for us. A couple of hours between late Saturday and early Sunday and boom! We got our 2nd Subie of the family. I was in Seattle, WA. At the time but Julio made sure to guide my wife - Danelia - through the right path for the best vehicle she both needed and wanted. We are extremely happy about our Outback and we also are extremely happy to have established a business partnership with Julio and a friendship with him. During the buying process he was taking care of every detail even entertaining our little 1.5 year old baby.
Now, today on April 16th 2025 after the reveal of the new 7th generation of the Subaru Outback I can confidently say that as soon as the 7th generation wilderness hits the parking lot on Subaru of Pembroke Pines I will come looking for Julio
On a side and final note I’m glad that we got Julio, in my 32 years of life I haven’t meet a salesman that really goes far and beyond for his customers. Julio doesn’t seek the money of his buyers, he seeks the satisfaction and happiness of his customers.
I’m proud to say we are a Subaru Family and also I’m happy to say that for us Julio is family.
