I didn't have much interaction with the dealership, I - alan-in-sa
I didn't have much interaction with the dealership, I dealt mainly with Jacob Agin, so my comments will be about him and my transaction. When one purchases an automobile online, and espicially a gently-used vehichle half way across the country, one needs to have complete trust in the person he works with at the dealership. This person becomes the local eyes of the purchaser. The day I met Jacob I got up thinking that I was going to purchase a vehicle from another dealership that was much closer to me. But there was something missing with the person I was working with at the other dealership. Quite simply, it was trust. I just did not feel comfortable that I knew what I was going to get. I did one more online search, and ran across a vehicle at Jaguar Imports that was almost identical to the other vehicle I was gong to purchase. I made an online inquire, and in a littel while Jacob called me. We had a good conversation, he told me the history of the automobile, and he was upfront about any potential issues. He sent me some additional information and pictures, and he was not pushy at all, like he was trying to make a sale so he could get on to another customer. I felt comfortable. We got to know each other over the next couple of days, and I felt that this is the car I wanted to buy, and this the person and dealership I wanted to work with. Jacob helped me arrange transporation, which was flawless, and even though I just the car yesterday, I like what I see. I feel that I purchased the right vehicle from the right person and the right dealership.
This ended up being much longer than I planned it to be, but when you purchase a vehicle long distance and sight unseen, you have to have a good person on the other end. I found a good person in Jacob.
