This has been my only service center for my 2 Prius's for several years. In recent months I have become somewhat distraught with how they have done. Several examples: - 6 months ago they lost my key FOB and several years. In recent months I have become somewhat distraught with how they have done. Several examples: - 6 months ago they lost my key FOB and had to replace it (at no charge). They found it the next day. This "cost" us extra time in the shop (due to delays), and another trip in to get our other FOB reprogrammed. (We did get a small reduction is the charge for the scheduled service, after I asked for it.) - we have had several tire (purchased at Toyota Direct) issues in the last several months. When taking the vehicle in, I mentioned that the tires were purchased there (within the last 2 years), but they still typically charge me for rotations and a tire replacement (until I complain about it, when they will remove the charge). - on the tire that was replaced (above), the new tire went flat several times overnight after it was installed. (I did catch it everytime and did not drive on it.) Taking it back in, they found that the valvestem needed tightening (which did solve the problem). The dust cap was also missing after the tire was installed, AND after the valvestem was tightened. Come on folks!! - at a recent 5000 mile service I got an oil change. After picking it up I was checking something on their website, and saw a promotion that they were running for the whole month for a reduction in the cost of oil changes...which I realized they did not give me. You would think that they would tell me that they were running a special when I requested the oil change, but I did not get it since I did not ask for it. (Apparently "Service Advisor" does not mean "Service Advocate"...not there to help the customer!) I will probably still use them for service, due to their location, but I feel that I have to really be on top of what they are doing and making sure that I get everything that I can...the Service Advisors are not really there to help me at all. More

The service technician did not tighten the oil drain plug and, as a result, engine oil leaked out. This created oil stains in our garage, a mess under our 2023 Camry, and caused my wife and I to lose several and, as a result, engine oil leaked out. This created oil stains in our garage, a mess under our 2023 Camry, and caused my wife and I to lose several hours of work dealing with this vital and inexcusable mistake. We are extremely concerned with having been driving our vehicle with it leaking oil. We had the problem resolved at the Valvoline Oil service at Polaris. Then I went back to Toyota Direct dealership on Wednesday, November 20th, to report this potentially catastrophic error and their service manager, (Justin or Jeremy or the likes because he didn't introduce himself), only to receive excuses and an impatient and frustrated attitude towards me and my concerns. His behavior was inappropriate, unappreciated, and solved nothing. We are angry about how I was treated and also concerned for what else the tech may have possibly missed during the service visit or the damage the leaking oil may have caused. They would NEVER make these errors on their personal vehicles and wouldn't put up with being treated like I was during my reporting visit. Never again. F David Tyler. More
