Cameron was AMAZING. He was friendly and eager to help us. He stayed late. He was very much a straight shooter. We told him what we wanted, and he respected it. he was a very relaxed salesman, while also taking great care of us. We originally became interested in a Used calligraphy model. We weren’t 100% sure, he made a video of the car pulling out of it. Space without a driver. It was very cool. His video covered the entire car and all the really awesome features. Still, it wasn’t for us. Cameron didn’t pressure us. He listened to what we wanted. He also listened to what we didn’t want in the calligraphy. Ultimately, we bought our 2026 Hyundai Santa Fe hybrid Limited from him. He was very personable and easy to work with. Earlier in the week, I had visited a Hyundai dealership in Laurel, Maryland. I just wanted to test drive the Santa Fe. They had some models on the lot, but nothing I really wanted. In contrast to Cameron, the Laurel salesman repeatedly called me. He contacted me pretty much every other day. Post sales, Cameron sent us a thank you and told us how much he enjoyed our company. The contrast is huge. I would go to Cameron every single time. His no nonsense sales approach was a perfect balance of knowledge and felt low pressure. His mannerisms were business, like despite his young age, he has a lot to teach other sales reps.

"Nice and clean facility with clear communication, but overpriced service." The facility itself is nice and clean, and the staff provided clear communication throughout the process. However, I am not satisfied with the service pricing. I own another luxury SUV that is more expensive than my Elantra. When I’ve had similar services performed at that brand's dealership, the total was actually less than the estimate Hyundai provided. Because of the high cost, I had to decline some of the recommended services and only proceed with what I wanted to proceed at Hyundai. It makes no sense why servicing an Elantra would be more expensive than a higher-end vehicle. While I am happy with the quality of service provided and will continue to visit for certain needs, I will be taking my car to a different local shop for other required fluid exchange services due to these high costs.

In the end I decided to go with another car, but I am very happy with my purchase and it didn't take very long to go through the entire process.

Such a great place to go. We bought our first Jones vehicle in 2020 and still have it. Last Sept 2023, we brought my cousin and he got a car. Just went back today 3/20/24 and within a couple of hours left in a brand new 2024 Hyundai Tucson with 19 miles on it. This was a gift for my Mother and she LOVES it. Parked in driveway and handed her the keys. A special thank you to Alyson who helped me out on the Facebook Messenger (I responded to one of their facebook ads) and to Michael T Stender, the salesman who was literally at the door when I parked and got me in and out, the finance dept and Peter who handled the paperwork.

At third service interval (~22K miles) on my Palisade, service advisor told me "Hyundai recommends a four wheel alignment which will be $275, would you like to schedule that today?" That was when I was checking in and no one had even driven the car...I did not make a scene and replied "no". Great job Pohanka Service Department! Today, I went in to parts for an oil filter and an in-cabin air filter, the parts guy came back and told me that would be $91...I asked for a breakdown and he told me the in-cabin was $70 and the oil was $21; I walked out. OEM parts (check any Hyundai dealer that sells on-line) and the highest I found were $28.75 and $10.15 respectively (not including $15 shipping). So, adding in 6% MD sales tax, Pohanka was upcharging me no less than 82%. Way to go Pohanka Parts Department! I am sure the dealer will respond that somehow I am mistaken and how much they value their customers, I am not and apparently that value is very little.
