I have owned cars purchased through Fitzgerald for more than 20 years, and somewhere in the past five years, the service at the Gaithersburg Hyundai location has gone into the toilet. The buyer protection than 20 years, and somewhere in the past five years, the service at the Gaithersburg Hyundai location has gone into the toilet. The buyer protection plan used to offer guaranteed free loaners. They have become very difficult in recent years to come by. First, they started denying them for "express service", so they'd tell your oil change and tire rotation would take an hour and it would take three. I called today and asked for a loaner for the 84,000 mile service for my Santa Fe. They first told me I was getting "express service", so no loaner. When I insisted on a loaner, saying I knew xxxx well they would find work that is not an express job, they said they would put me down for a loaner. Good. The nearest date for someone getting a loaner is six weeks from now. That is just plain and simple bad service and a con job. I am currently looking for a new outfit to care for my vehicle. What the xxxx happened to you, Fitzgerald? For shame. More
