On the particular day we were there, Garlyn Shelton Motors was having a celebration, and they were grilling in the parking lot, which made my husband even more patient than normal with my indecision. After burgers and hot dogs and a discussion about the Garlyn Shelton lifetime drivetrain protection, which includes transmission, etc., I knew that when I bought my next vehicle, it was going to be from that dealer. Then the finance team “ran some information” for me and announced a 1.9% interest rate, which I thought was a mistake. “OK,” I thought, “that number might not stay that low forever.” And, yes, I drove away in a new Mazda that day. I was back within a week, when my accessories arrived, then Jorge expertly installed what I’d ordered, and I just couldn’t be happier with the whole experience. I really didn’t plan to buy a car that day. I planned to spend another 6 months researching, trying, and deciding. I mean, I was pretty adamant about that. I guess now I’ll be spending all that time doing something more fun! Thank-you to Jorge, and the whole Garlyn Shelton team for making a big switch in brand loyalty happen in a more timely way than I’d ever guessed was possible!

I was purchasing from out of state, so I took some risk driving down. They had the best price out of the 10 dealerships that had the make/model/transmission/trim/colors I wanted. They worked with me almost entirely over email to get an out-the-door quote, and that's what I was charged when I got there. I asked them to get me out the door in 2.5 hours (no financing), and they were just barely able to do that. It was a good experience.

There were some time issues with the repairs and she went over what others have ever done for me to make sure the timing would not interfere with what I need to get done while my truck was down for the repair. She made me feel like an old friend, not just a numbered customer. She has been very proactive in helping me even when I did not request anything. Service like this is old school and doesn't happen as often as it used to. Thank you Cindy. With employees of this caliber I will return to Triple Crown Ford for future business needs.

This was our first time to purchase a vehicle from CarMax and it was sooooo easy!!! We located the vehicle in Houston and paid to have it brought to Lubbock. This truck looked like a brand new one and it was 2 yrs old. Henry, the young man that helped us with the paperwork, was so sweet and had everything done for us. This is probably the best experience I have every had at a dealership. If you need a GOOD used vehicle, I would highly recommend going through CarMax!
