This was my third car purchased from Tustin Hyundai. This dealer has been fantastic in the past. I worked with Carlos, Sean, and Ivan to purchase my 2025 Santa Fe Hybrid. All three are excellent.
However, I will say that the Finance Manager Zarfar Khokhar uses deceptive and predatory tactics to sell you unnecessary warranties and add-ons. He goes over the information very quickly and promises to qualify you for a lower interest rate if you purchase certain items and gives vague descriptions of what you are signing up for. You see the final cost after you have signed the agreement.
I actually would have purchased the platinum extended warranty and ceramic coat, but he snuck in 5 replacement keys and 3 windshields to my final cost. I didn't know the what was purchased until the paperwork was signed. The other Finance Managers have been very upfront here and have never pulled these shenanigans before.
I've been going to Tustin Hyundai for years. Everyone else at Tustin Hyundai is great, professional and service is great. The sales and service team are no pressure and helpful.
Avoid the Finance Manager Zarfar Khokar and you will avoid being deceived and swindled.
It's a shame as everyone else there are great. But now I have a real sour taste left in my mouth and will think twice now before I give them my business again.
