I had an absolutely terrible experience at Honda of Downtown Los Angeles, and I want to warn others before they make the same mistake.I took my 2018 Honda Odyssey in for a fuel pump recall repair, and the next day, my engine warning light came on. I also started hearing a loud noise from the high-pressure fuel pump, which was never an issue before.When I returned to the dealership, they refused to take responsibility, claiming that the issue was "not related to the fuel pump recall", despite the fact that it happened IMMEDIATELY after their service.To make matters worse: 🚨 They failed to provide a proper OBD-II scan with actual diagnostic codes. 🚨 They only reported a DCA-8000 code, which is NOT a standard fuel system error code. 🚨 They recommended replacing the high-pressure fuel pump and tried to charge me $1,942.78! 🚨 When I escalated my complaint to Honda Corporate, they STILL refused to take responsibility.I have since filed complaints with NHTSA and the Better Business Bureau (BBB) because this dealership does NOT care about customer safety or accountability. They are simply looking for ways to charge customers for unnecessary repairs instead of fixing problems they might have caused.DO NOT TRUST THIS DEALERSHIP! If you need repairs, go ANYWHERE ELSE but here.

My experience purchasing a Honda at this dealership was exceptional. My first contact with Estaban was positive, we told him what we needed. He was informed. We showed him the lower price listed on line and he directed us to the manager Bilal. He said he would match the price. He went on to give us discounts on the service and support contract. He helped us set up insurance at a cheaper arte, helped us get our rental picked up and gave us the same intereest as one we had established with USAA....I cannot think of one negative issue....TOTAL happiness and support.

This was by far the easiest and absolute best car buying experience I've ever had. I usually dread visiting car lots and being chased around by dealers, or even worse being ignored because I'm not dressed sharp enough! (I'm talking about you cerritos nissan!) Well this was much different, we got to browse the cars on our own and when we were ready, we were warmly greeted by Frank, our salesman. He pointed out all the great features on the Civic we were considering and then we took it on a test drive. He never tried to talk us into a more expensive model, or adding a bunch of extras, he just let us get the model we wanted and gave us a great price we couldn't refuse. When it came to the paper work, it was smooth sailing and their financing even beat our credit unions interest rate. We were then sent to Art who patiently explained our contracts and additional warranty coverage, and got to watch us sign all of our official documents. He never made us feel like big idiots if we didn't consider additional coverage. (I'm talking to you again cerritos nissan!) We were also congratulated many times by various sales people, including Richard the sales manager. This is a dealership who knows the Honda name sales itself and won't try to pressure you in any way. Therefore I highly recommend Community Honda of Whittier! You rock!!!
