I was initially drawn to this dealership because of the advertised no dealer fees and competitive pricing. It seemed like a straightforward, no-nonsense buying process, which was important to us as we were ready to purchase the vehicle that day.
We anticipated the transition would be seamless—we had financing in place, insurance ready, and clear communication about our timing. However, when we went to confirm a time to go in and close the deal, we were told the car wasn’t even on-site. It was at a separate preparation location that’s closed on Saturdays and Sundays, which seemed odd given that weekends—especially a holiday weekend—are typically the busiest time for car shopping.
Additionally, we encountered an unexpected LoJack add-on. We were told it was already installed and couldn’t be removed, despite never requesting it. While the dealership claims “no dealer fees,” this felt like a hidden fee in disguise. We were even willing to accept a car that wasn’t our first color choice because of the simplicity and transparency we expected—only to feel like we were being upsold and inconvenienced throughout the process.
We also felt like there was little effort made to make things easier for us, even though we were serious buyers ready to complete the transaction that day. Instead, it felt like we were going out of our way to make things happen—with little accommodation in return.
Overall, it was a disappointing experience. I strongly recommend future buyers ask for a full, written breakdown of all fees and add-ons before making the trip.
