I left a deposit on a 2026 Volkswagen Tiguan and was called by the sales agent Greg the next day to pick the car up. I said I needed the final amount due, including the VIN, and I'll be there in 2 days to pick it up. When I called on 4/29 to confirm pick up I was given the run around and heard nothing back until I called a second time. Eventually, a manager named Giuseppe told me he sold and delivered the car to another buyer "accidentally". This was no accident and an intentional sale at a higher profit margin. The salesman then attempted to rewrite history through lies and deceit. Avoid at all costs!!! More

I called this VW of West Islip dealer about the ID Buzz they advertised online for $47,996. Since I'm out of state, I asked for the out-the-door price. First, “Mariah” tells me they only provide OTD prices they advertised online for $47,996. Since I'm out of state, I asked for the out-the-door price. First, “Mariah” tells me they only provide OTD prices if you're at the showroom. But she passes me to Kate Jordan, who immediately hands me off to “Greg”. Greg also waffles on pricing, saying he needs to talk to the general manager and will get back to me. Hours later, I get a text saying they will beat any offer I get in writing from another dealer. Are you kidding me? Why did we all waste each other’s time if you’re just going to run a bait ad, advertise a low price, and never honor it? There are plenty of other VW dealers… go to them and don’t waste your time here with these fools. More

Terrible experience at VW of West Islip! !! I rated a 2 star because the salesman Greg tried to lead us in the right direction- I think. . The finance dept did all they could to trick my s !! The finance dept did all they could to trick my son and us into paying more at lease signing $6100 vs the around $3k mentioned when we were first looking at the car to lease. My son decided to return the car because he felt like he was being robbed At that point they change the fees to $4k so they wouldn’t lose the deal. This was after my husband got very upset. It took at least 2 hours of very confusing number playing. They left overwhelmed but confident that all was straighten out. My husband asked for a paper invoice they said no we email, even though the day before they had a paper one. When they got home we looked at email. I realized that they changed the original agreed seller price from approximately $37,500 to $40,360 which is more than the MSRP. We also noticed that we paid part of the lease + taxes for a 0 down transaction. I called and a left message to rectify this with John or Sean in finance. No one has called me back. We felt so stressed over this. My son’s first experience or lesson of a car dealership deceiving, and lying to close a deal. More
