I took my car in for body repairs, as was suggested by - mswafford

I took my car in for body repairs, as was suggested by the Toyota dealership. The original estimate was for less than $5000. Then it went up to $14,000 and ended up to be almost $20,000. I hit a pole in a parking lot, never even broke the headlight and the air bags did not go off, I was going about 10 mph. They sent it to a different mechanic who removed the engine so Bay could “fix the frame” and then the mechanic couldn’t figure out how to correctly reinstall it back. It sat in the parking lot for 3 months with the hood off where more damage to the engine was done. Bay argued with the mechanic about who was going to fix what and who was going to pay, and no work was done for months while the car sat there. They continued to lie to me about what was happening as to the repairs every week I called. The car took 6 months for the repair that was originally estimated to take 14 days. My insurance company finally sent someone to the shop to find out what was going on and discovered what was happening. Bay then had to send the car to the Toyota dealership to have the eigine fixed from all the damage done. It cost an extra $5000 which they passed along to the insurance company. The insurance company (AIG) say they’ve never had this happen where a company doesn’t get pre approval and just sends a bill for $5000. Bay refused to release the car until the insurance company paid in full. It sat there for a week while they came to a conclusion. Then Bay Body decided to take the car for a test drive the day we were headed there to pick it up and they found another problem. Fortunately they got it fixed, after I threw a fit. 6 months and $20,000 later we got the car back. My insurance company say if they’d known the final cost they would have totaled the car. They were horrible, they lied every time we called and ripped us off for thousands of dollars. They contracted a terrible mechanic and then didn’t want to stand by their decision. I recommend you don’t take you car there for anything!

I just want to thank Elizabeth Tarr and all of the team @ Central Florida Lincoln for the excellent service they provided. I recently had some major damage to my Lincoln Navigator due to squirrels destroying wires around my engine and Elizabeth got my vehicle in for repair the very next day and also put me in a beautiful loaner vehicle whike my vehicle was worked on. She also coordinated with my insurance adjuster to insure a timely reimbursement of repair my repair costs and it was all smoothly done. I really appreciate all the effort and professionalism displayed by Elizabeth and the entire team at Central Florida Lincoln. Thanks !!

Last month I purchased a Lincoln Navigator from this dealer. Prior to buying it I spent a considerable amount of time at our local Chevy, GMC and Ford dealerships. I spoke with so many salespeople and managers that I got to know them all very well. I drove a hard bargain between my trade-in and the purchase prices. Sara was my salesperson at Lincoln. She was more knowledgeable about the Lincolns than any person could imagine. She took much time talking with my wife and I and she was very personable. Not once did I feel the normal sales pressures or trickery that I have often experienced over my 66 years. Her attitude and happiness were infectious and a pleasure to deal with. I always take several days to think about buying a new vehicle and she respected that when explained it to her. Ultimately, I bought the Navigator over all others, and I love it. I had the paint sealed a week later and the dealership loaned me yet another newer Navigator as the loaner. The next time that you are in the market for a new car and lack the patience for the normal B.S. that comes with buying a new car, call Sara at Lincoln of Melbourne. You will be pleased that you did, I know we are!

Today I drove 3.5 hours (from Ocala to Sebring) to potentially purchase a used 2023 Ford E-Transit from this dealership in Sebring. The listing on their website was FG61927A. I called prior to leaving Ocala to make sure that the vehicle was available and was told that it was on the lot and abvailable for a test drive. I again asked if it was viewable today and was told "yes" by Amber B. their internet sales specialist. I arrived and met with Francklyn who is a salesman at the Chevrolet dealership. He checked on the vehicle and found that it was being driven by someone. He wasn't sure if it was that dealership, another Alan Jay deaslership or a potential customer. He apologized and told me that he would call me when the E-Transit returned to the lot. He never called me back! I am starting to wonder if the vehicle had been previously sold and not removed from Alan Jay's website and Auto Trader. I also thought that maybe the vehicle was more of a "bait and switch" and was not actually for sale. The price listed (and confirmed with Amver) was $27,995.00 - a deal almost too good to be true! With the return trip I spent 7 hours travelling back and forth. I am quite upset with this dealership's trading practices. I think that once they realized that the vehicle was in fact not available for sale they made up the story about it's whereabouts. Pretty crappy way to conduct business - or should I say a shady way to conduct business.
