UPDATED: Took my car in for non working HVAC blower. - Local Texan

UPDATED: Took my car in for non working HVAC blower. They told me it would need a new blower for $661 all in. 2014 Mustang. I just had them give me my car back, cost me over $200 in diagnostic fees. Pulled the blower out and bench tested it and it worked fine. Downloaded Ford wiring diagram. Put blower back in and bypassed the relay under the hood and it worked fine. Replaced relay-$20 part at auto zone. And the HVAC is back to normal. The Update: Inside of a month, Ford sent a survey via email. I provided the same info as I did here. The service manager contacted me via phone to apologize and offered a full refund after I explained how I found the problem and fixed it. I appreciate the customer service. The car pickup and delivery to and from my home went smoothly as well and the couriers were nice.

Shoutout to Richard Dunkerson (GM) and Bo Grant (Service) of Brinson Ford of Athens for the exceptional service I received this week, Even though I presented my Nissan Altima having electrical problems this Ford Dealership diagnosed the problem, provided a free loaner car, and did not overcharge for the over the top care they provided a non-Ford customer. They communicated with me by text as they progressed and even washed my car when completed. I cannot recommend this dealership highly enough for their professionalism and quality service. Having said that, I did give Bo (a rabid Alabama fan) grief over AL stealing my Univ of Washington Husky FB coach to replace Saban.

My first experience with a Sam Pack dealership was the Carrollton dealership in 2006. I have been going to the Dallas location due to convenience and proximity. Their service there has gone downhill so bad that I cannot go there anymore. You are lucky if you get a response from them at all much less a prompt reply from managers on down. Mass confusion always. Very disappointing considering how it used to be. Possibly due to employee turnover. So, I searched the Carrollton location and found out that Clay Young was still there as was my salesman Rey Mendoza and Trey Russell. Also discovered some other employees in service department were still there. My first inquiry was to Clay, and lo and behold I received a very prompt, detailed response, fully answering my inquiry. I have not been back yet but that is my goal.

This is the first time I have used this service. They came and picked up my truck and brought it back to me. I actually had two trucks that needed warranty work done so they picked one up did the work brought it back and picked up the other one. The whole process was seemless. As far as I am from the dealer this was an awesome experience and a much needed service! Kelli always takes care of me.

I was going to change dealerships (which is what I thought the service advisor wanted) but decided to write a review here just to vent. After the review the general manager of the dealership (Brian Weiss) and I talked and he has totally improved my situation and attitude. They are taking care of my service needs while picking up and returning my F-250 to me.
