I've been with Smythe Volvo since 1991 and have over thirty years experience in the automotive industry. The best part about working at Smythe Volvo is the local business feel of the company. Knowing almost every customer who walks into the shop is a great feeling. My favorite Volvo of all time was the C30. It was a small, fast and super-fun 2 door hatchback with a turbo 5 cylinder engine. When not at Smythe Volvo, you can find me kayaking or fishing somewhere in New Jersey.

My car was just in for general maintenance and a few weeks later it's back for a check engine light that was resolved with software updates only the dealer could perform. Why weren't the updates performed during the general maintenance? I don't like wasting my time bring the car in and then being down a car with a newborn. This was avoidable. More

I took in the car xc40 recharge on 4/16 for a full check up. Nothing g at all was detected that needed to be repaired. Days after leaving the maintenance light came back on. Got a flat tire on 5/6. Car was up. Nothing g at all was detected that needed to be repaired. Days after leaving the maintenance light came back on. Got a flat tire on 5/6. Car was towed to SMYTHE. Tire was replaced the next day. I was also told the air can filter needed to get replaced. Not sure why they would not have done that 3 weeks earlier. On our way home the tire pressure light went back on for the tire that was replaced requiring a stop to check tires again. The tire pressure light for same tire went on again 5/24. I have bought 3 Volvos from SMYTHE and am not pleased with the service or the cost for repairs. Major failures in my xc90. More
