During mid-November of last year, my son and I walked into Audi to purchase a pre-owned Acura after being contacted via phone ny Ms. Rivers. Ms. Rivers was cordial and professional. One week later we decided to purchase the vehicle. I submitted the check and returned with my son to drive the vehicle home. Unfortunately, after returning 2 days later, the vehicle had not been cleaned/detailed. We waited approximately 45 minutes . Moreno, sales reprrresentttative was very nice and professional and assured us that the car would be properly cleaned.
After one week with vehicle, the car would not start. We called Matthew and he stated that Audi would not sell a car with any issues, and he assured us that the car was fine. After speaking with him sevearl times., Matthew stated that he would have the car towed. He complained that he wasted money to have the car towed.
We were not provided a loaner car, and two days later, matthew stated that the car needed a new battery. While on the phone, I told Matthew that the car had a leak as well. Matthew assured us that they only service high end cars, and the car was fine otherwise he would not sell the vehicle.
After picking up the car, I spoke with Jim and informed him of the leak, and that I could provide pictures. When we arrived Jim assured us that the problem would be resolved, and he took down my information. After calling Audi two days later, because no one had contacted me, I was told by Matthew that the car was ready and it was a minor problem. He stated that the oil filter was not tightened. Again, this is the same Matthew who stated that he would not sell a vehicle with problems. Again, the battery and oil leak were minor , however, tis is supposedly a seller of high end vehicles.
Finally, when we returned to pick up the car, my sons iphone cord was missing. Again, Matthew stated that we only work on high end cars, therefore, no one would take the cord. Needless to say, we had to purchase another cord.
Finally, on January 7, 2025, I received a check from Sonic Automotive group, I called Audi to ask the nature of the check. The receptionist stated that the finance person was busy. She took my information and stated someone would return my call. No one ever called. I had to call Audi in Rockville, Maryland. They were prompt as well as explaining why I possibly received the check.
By the way, Jim stated that he would notify upper management regarding my issues. Crickets!!
After posting my review, I am extremely pleased with the quick response by the Audi Owings Mills General Manager ( Mr. Joshua Jones). I was contacted 1/11/25 after posting my review on 1/10/25. I was personally contacted via cell phone, and I was provided with a direct and personal cell phone number should I have any issues. The General Manager (Mr. Joshua Jones), was transparent, honest and more importantly willing to listen and resolve all of my issues and concerns.
The General Manager, was extremely helpful in resolving my issues. He assured me that everything wolud be taken care of, and I was assured that my experience would not be repeated by anyone working for Audi Owings Mills.
