Before showing up, I called and inquired about the exact make/model of the vehicle I wanted by providing the stock #. In turn, that is exactly what was shown and I was not steered toward other options that I didn't inquire about. I appreciate the laid-back attitude at AutoNation Hyundai Carlsbad, along with their outstanding customer service and great communication. It is not often I would recommend a dealership to anyone, but the fact that this one is not privately owned and is backed by having many locations across the U.S. makes them a dealership by the people and for the people. I checked the inventory online and narrowed it down to two vehicles. I contacted Garland Latta and he ran some numbers and called me back with a very fair offer. I settled on the new Sonata. The finance person had me fill out everything online and sign 80% of the documents. I live an hour from the dealership and Garland had a very nice lady deliver the car to my home and pick up the trade. I usually find the car buying process to be a pain in the ...... but Garland made it painless.
