Great experience! We were greeted by Eli, who smiled and waved as we pulled into the dealership parking lot. I had already done some research online and had a 2023 Santa Fe in mind to look at. Eli took us on a test drive in that vehicle and gave us a brief overview of it. Afterwards, we headed inside to take a look at numbers for a trade-in. James Highsmith took over from there and gathered all of our information so he could give us some options. After negotiating for a while, we were pleasantly surprised with the final offer that we accepted. We met with Susan Hicks in finance who was wonderful and made the signing process quick, easy and fun. The whole process from start to finish was handled professionally. I highly recommend a visit!

Best Hyundai dealer in Southern California! I contacted them originally in February (along with other dealers) and explained what I wanted in a hard to find Santa Fe AWD Limited. They were the only dealer that contacted me regularly with updates and their continued attempts to find what I was looking for. They let me know ahead of time when the vehicle was due to arrive, and called me first when it came in. I went and bought it the same day. The staff could not have been more helpful during the entire process. I will not go anywhere else when I have to buy another car. The service department is the best around. ( I had another Hyundai that was totaled in an accident). I have used their service department and they have always been fair and honest with me. I won’t use any other dealer or service department for my Hyundai. Kearny Mesa Hyundai is the best dealer you will find anywhere when you want a Hyundai. And right now, dollar for dollar, Hyundai is the best choice for vehicles that you can buy, without exception!!

On March 12, 2024, A service department representative provided my warranty service contract to another customer. The warranty contract contained my name, my address, phone number as well as email address. The customer that recd my contract reached out to me via text to inquire about a vehicle that she now owned and purchased thru Hyundai that I traded in AUG or SEPT of 2023. She was having engine problems with the vehicle. She was inquiring to see if I had any issues with the vehicle. She and spoke briefly and our conversation ended. I pondered that night on how she obtained my info so the next morning I reached out to her and discovered that Hyundai had given her a copy of my contract with my information on it. I reached out to Hyundai and spoke to Angel the GM and he admitted that they were in violation of privacy laws. I then had a meeting with Patrick Beck the owner who was more concerned about the time and money he had to waste on the employees he had to fire behind the incident. BTW no proof this was actually done, When I asked Patrick Beck how I know this hasn't happened before his response was oh well, I am sure it has and no doubt it won't again. He offered credit monitoring for a year as a sorry but as a prior victim of having my information compromised, I declined as I already do this. Again, admitting guilt that they ae in violation of privacy laws. I showed Patrick a TIC TOC of one of his employes in the finance dept. admitting that she left a deal jacket opened and the customers information was stolen. Her response was OOOPS. All I could say is if you bought a car from BAKERSFIELD HYUNDAI please monitor your credit closely. Don't be another victim.
