Less than two weeks ago, we were in a terrible situation with a 2014 Hyundai SF that we recently financed, that broke down in Lancaster, CA— Over three hours away from our San Diego home. We had it towed to Expert Automotive in Rosamond that Friday where they found a dead engine and the P-1326 code. On Saturday we towed it to Diamond Hyundai (Palmdale) and got a call from Alicia in Service. She is quite experienced in her craft, informative, friendly and on top of it all.
In my research, everything I had read, said that if Hyundai approved an engine replacement, the entire process would take 4 to 10 weeks, So we settled in. Imagine our surprise when we heard back on Monday that They would be escalating the situation to Hyundai. On Tuesday, we learned we were getting a new engine!! Alicia told us that she would be in touch the following week when the engine arrived. Imagine how surprised when she reached out on Friday to let us know that our vehicle was ready! New engine (free) and hoses and belts (not free), all installed and ready for pickup! Wait, what?
Saturday, One week later, we took the Drive to pick up our car Which drove home just fine and is driving around San Diego the same. We were so impressed with the service and speed that we had them do the oil change on our ram 1500. It was the end of the day and they got it done in less than an hour!
We are tempted to make the 3+ hour drive to get future service. Alicia and the service team were THAT impressive! Thank you Diamond Hyundai for standing out!
