I've finally had it. I have been taking my 4runner there for over six years and in the past two years I have seen the dramatic decreases in the craftmanship of the work a I have been taking my 4runner there for over six years and in the past two years I have seen the dramatic decreases in the craftmanship of the work and their attention to detail. For the past 5 services I had them perform, I've needed to take my truck back for three of them. If you do elect to take your car or truck to them for service, plan to do a post-inspection before driving off. Also, know what services are due to prevent being sold unnecessarily ones. Reasons for my rating. -Had new wiper inserts installed. The tech did not tighten the bolt for the rear wiper and the wiper failed to fully retract potentially burning out the wiper motor. - Had front breaks replaced and they squeaked for months afterwards because they were not properly greased. -Being told I needed unnecessary services such as "pre-emptive" alignments and services that had already been preformed within the past 12 months. - Valve caps not being installed after getting new tires. - Being asked to come back because the tech left a tool under my hood. - -Missing key to wheel locks after a tire rotation. I've given them many chances because they are literally 5 mins from my house. However, I just bought a new truck and will drive an extra 30 mins to take it to a different dealer because I don't want them to lay a hand on it. More
I went in to get my 20,000 mile maintenance done at no extra fee under Toyota care on my 2021 RAV4. Right when I pulled in the guy told me that I needed an alignment. How would he know that just by barely looking at it? I asked him if that was part of the maintenance schedule and if the cost was covered. He said it’d be an additional $130. I had an alignment not that long ago, so lying to customers hoping that they’re gullible to steal their money is highly unethical. More
I called Toyota Direct, they offer me 2 options, choosed the one on Morse Rd. On Saturday Oct 29,22. answered Aubrey, who stated today I do not need appointment to change oil, because is a day anybody will the one on Morse Rd. I insisted to have an appointment either 3pm 4pm or 5pm or later. Aubrey insisted I can arrive any time and I will be assisted. I traveled 1 hour to be assistant, and at service they told me I need an appointment, and I was not schedules and it will close at 7 minutes, that is 4pm ET> Something similar happend me before, I called for an appointment. I talk to lady who set up an apointment to change oil. When I arrived, there was no appointment for me. The customer service to set up appointment to change oil of the vehicle is really bad. These are my 2 last experiences. Please train your client service people to give the right information by phone. Thank you More
they pretend to be a class A dealership but underneath they're viscous sharks. I bought a Toyota Camry 3 years ago. The latest example (4 bad experiences so far) was that I had a problem with my windshield wipers and they wanted to charge me $135 to diagnose. I declined to authorize that expense. Later someone looked at it and told me a part was broken which would cost me $182 to have them fix. No thanks. I took it to another mechanic who wiggled the wiper arm and it has worked perfectly ever since. Every visit to their service department seemed to be an opportunity for them to charge me for something I didn't need or that should have been covered under warrantee. More
From out of state, I came 370 miles for a visit with my son and daughter in-law in Westerville, Ohio. During the trip I had a service maintenance issue light come on prompting me to take my 2020 Toyota Sie son and daughter in-law in Westerville, Ohio. During the trip I had a service maintenance issue light come on prompting me to take my 2020 Toyota Sienna to a Toyota service/repair center. I selected Toyota Direct for my service issue. A gentleman named Stephen Kotich extended a warm personable greeting, and I proceeded explaining my urgent service issue plus some extra things of concern that I felt needed checking out. He gave me the red carpet treatment with his professionalism of knowledge and customer service orientation. He assured me that all my concerns would be looked into and corrected if needed ....and they were, perfectly. NOTE: I am 73 years young, and in all the the many years I have had different vehicles, and experiences with numerous service reps. I have to say that Stephen Kotich is in the top 5 of the best of the best I ever had the pleasure of working with. I am a Veteran and I demand perfection to the detail, and he delivered with an outstanding performance of expertise in every area of his job. Toyota Direct should be very grateful to have Stephen on their team. He is on my short list of an endangered species of superb service reps. Because of his superb job performance, I just may travel 370 miles every time I need to attend a Toyota service center! Rating: 7 stars out of 5. More
I wish I could give a negative star rating. They don't even deserve a 1 star review. I've been dealing with complications since June & still have not received a resolution for the issues my car is experie even deserve a 1 star review. I have upwards to 20 videos showing my backup camera malfunctioning, but am told they can't duplicate the issue, so that concern cannot be resolved. I waited over a month for parts to arrive for my vehicle for them to replace the wrong speaker. Don't get me started on the asinine customer service experience provided by Ashley. Zero people skills or concern for my vehicle whatsoever. Taking my vehicle elsewhere to be serviced PROPERLY!! More
