Their service department was the worst I've ever experienced. They didn't care that they caused damaged to my wheels during a tire replacement. They have lost a customer because of poor service mana experienced. They didn't care that they caused damaged to my wheels during a tire replacement. They have lost a customer because of poor service management and incompetent technicians. YOU DONT USE STEEL TIRE IRONS ON POWDER COATED ALUMINUM WHEELS. Thats is obvious!! More

I received a notification that my RAV4 was due for its 10K complementary visit. I only had 4500 miles on it but always take VERY good care of everything I own so decided to take it in. I made an appoint 10K complementary visit. I only had 4500 miles on it but always take VERY good care of everything I own so decided to take it in. I made an appointment almost a week in advance but still had a 2+ hour wait - which was fine for me, as I brought a book. As I was leaving the dealership afterwards, my dashboard lights came on like a Christmas tree. The vehicle sputtered, kept trying to die on me. Luckily, I had not yet left the dealership, so was barely able to turn back into the service dept. and told the guy "my vehicle is literally NEW and was in BETTER SHAPE than it was when I brought it in!!!!!!!!!". What kind of service department is this?! The guys literally had to PUSH my new vehicle out the service bay entrance back to the service department. Another 30-45 min later a guy walks up to me and tells me that they did not put in enough oil when changing the oil out. Again...my vehicle is practically BRAND NEW and almost was destroyed by having NO OIL in the engine. I've lost TOTAL confidence in this dealership's service department. My neighbor is a Toyota expert. He specializes in buying Tacomas and Forerunners and "flipping" them and had talked me into switching from Audi to Toyota. I still have full confidence in Toyota and know that the best vehicles are Toyotas....but this dealership? NOPE. I called my neighbor and he drove out there and talked to Greg Ormond who had sold me the vehicle and Greg is the nicest guy. He actually came out and checked again the oil level and it is still a little on the low side according to my neighbor and Greg but at least it's not trying to die on me (at first I thought it was the truck in front of me making all the noise...sounds like a diesel engine!) and no more check engine lights and notifications on my Toyota app that my SUV has "electrical issues" and to immediately call the dealership for service. And so now what.....drive 1 hour to Alpharetta or Cumming to get my Toyota serviced, when Cobb County Toyota is only a few miles from my home? I get it that you probably can't get and keep a good service employee but PLEASE...seriously?! Your employees can't even change the oil properly in a vehicle? You guys need to work on getting better employees and improving customer serivice and confidence - not in Toyota, but in SERVICING Toyota vehicles. Shame on your Cobb County Toyota service department!! PS when I asked to speak to the service dept manager and kindly asked him (no, I was not being a b*xxx about this whole ordeal) why my new Toyota was in better shape BEFORE i brought it in, he BLEW ME OFF like I was just in his way. There was someone in line in front of me as well that was complaining so I guess he was just having a lot of complaints that day. I hardly ever complain about things and everyone around me tells me I should be more assertive. This issue just takes the cake. I love my RAV4 and have NO regrets buying it from Cobb County Toyota, and Greg Ormond is a great guy and salesman. But you REALLY should consider TRAINING your service department on how to work on Toyotas (specifically, how to change the oil properly) and how to not just ignore customers' complaints after you have botched up their new vehicles! I’ve been a long time customer and always pleased with the service I’ve received.
