Since I have previously written a review complaining about the Freehold Subaru service department, I feel obligated to write about my most recent visit, which was perfectly fine. All work requested was done quickly and efficiently, In addition, some work that I had inquired about was found after inspection to be unnecessary, and therefore not performed (and not charged for). I found this to be be refreshingly honest! My radio interface was updated, which I appreciated. And my pet peeve, accurate tire pressure, was done perfectly.

I have been a customer at All American Subaru in Old Bridge for 7 years and have worked with Mel on several occasions. Mel always gives exceptional service. She is friendly and professional, making every step of a service visit a breeze. I was able to get a service appointment quickly and she arranged a loaner car for an extended repair. Mel also reached out to Subaru, even after my warranty expired, to see if any part of the repair could be covered. She provided me with timely updates via phone call, text message and even video of the work being done! Upon checkout, Mel explained in detail the work that was done as well as all charges. She made recommendations for the next service visit so I would know what to expect. And my car was washed and ready to go when I arrived! Extremely happy with Mel and the whole dealership. Will continue to do business with All American Subaru.

I was in a difficult situation. My car broke down on an out of town trip. I had it towed to Paul Miller Subaru, where Frank stayed late to set up a loaner. I returned it 2 days later, and traded the old car for a new one. Dashawn took me through the process, and I was able to drive away with my new car the same day. I purchased my forester from Victory a year and a half ago. I found they were fair in the buying process and always kind during maintenance visits. Im leaving a review now bc I recently had an DMV/lien issue that in hindsight was not victory’s fault. I was in contact with Michelle who moved swiftly to resolve the issue all while never placing the blame on me or the bank I financed through. Her words to me were “I’m going to make this right.” I’m so impressed with how they continue to treat me fairly and always approach me with kindness even over a year later.

I really want to like this dealership but we have had a problem with 3 out of the last 4 service visits. We have complained, wrote negative reviews but nothing ever changes. I really don't know what to say or do any longer. If I could get my money back on the prepaid oil changes and move on, I would.

Edit. 5 stars means getting it right the first time. To Lynnes Subaru’s credit, they did get it right eventually. Jeff Falk the sales GM was especially helpful and did make good on processing a refund quickly for the disputed registration charges. He was polite, professional, and understanding. I’ll not be purchasing a vehicle from here or recommending this dealership to anyone else. Beware, as soon as you put down a deposit all customer service goes out the window and there are hidden fees. The initial quoted price was fair for my 21 Forester. After agreeing on the price, the salesman bumped it up claiming they did some calculations incorrectly. I accepted this and chose to spend a little more after being assured that the certified pre-owned vehicle status would come with a full warranty since it has only about 10k miles on it. At signing, they revealed the warranty only covered the power train and tried to sell me an extended warranty for almost 2k. They then revealed that the car was missing a set of keys, but said they would get them soon (I finally got new keys after several follow ups and an additional trip to the dealer 2 months later). The dealer charged me $420 for “DMV fees” with the promise that I would be refunded the difference between that amount and the actual DMV tag and title cost. After several follow ups, the dealer claimed that the fees were in excess of $500, said I actually owed them money, but they would do me a favor and cover the difference. When I got my registration, I saw that the actual DMV fees were $234, meaning that the dealer owed me over $250. The receipt the dealer sent me claimed $369 in DMV fees with a $150 service charge (that was not disclosed and is expressly prohibited by law - all fees must me itemized up front). Here I am, 3 months after purchase, waiting for a check from a deal eager to bleed me for anything they can squeeze out. Any money you think you may save here based on the list price is better spent elsewhere.

Patrick was very helpful and accommodating to what I was looking and what I wasn't. Great work and effort to find me the Outback that fit perfectly. The management team was very friendly and wanted to make something happen as much as I did so that aspect of everything was great. Very friendly staff that actually looked like they liked their Job! - Go figure. Finance Department and that process was the cleanest and pressure free experience in a long, long time. 2024 Outback Premium with the right package. Overall, very pleased and happy I took the trip over. Car is very smooth and quiet - feels safe with great visibility. Averaging just shy of 28MPG's in the first 400 miles.

With a servicing contract, we drive close to 30 miles to reach Olden Ave on a Saturday. We were running late due traffic and was never told when making the appt that the Service Dept were to close early that day. We called ahead and upon arrival, RuthAnn made accommodation and happily took us in for our first Oil Change with tire rotation. We were out in abut 30 min. At another Suby dealer, the wait is usually about 90 min the last 7 years. Thank you RuthAnn. A few services ago at the other Suby dealer, the dipstick was not returned to its location. Went under the hood the next day to take a quick look. All good but noticed the windshield fluid was very low and not topped off.
