I had an appointment to discuss my end of lease options. I was fortunate to have Seth as my salesman. He was very courteous and understanding of my situation. As luck would have it, the Crosstrek color I wanted was being delivered to the dealership as we spoke.(this is my second Crosstrek) Long story short, I drove home with my new Crosstrek later that afternoon. I had no issues with my service consultant My concerns are with the Parts and Service Director and how my repair was handled I was initially charged for a repair that did not resolve my intermittent accel are with the Parts and Service Director and how my repair was handled I was initially charged for a repair that did not resolve my intermittent acceleration issue The dealership then recommended replacing the injectors During that repair, an injector broke, and I was presented with more than $5,000 in additional recommended work The director wanted me to approve the injectors while telling me they would not be responsible if the original issue returned Only after I contacted Subaru Customer Advocacy did he tell me coverage would be 12,000 miles or one year The unsuccessful initial repair, additional costs, and changing explanation of responsibility left me frustrated and without confidence in the process Based on my experience, I do not plan to return to this dealership and would not recommend it to anyone else More
