This Dealership is also called Koons Ford Lincoln of Annapolis that said, I purchased a used Toyota at this location. My salesman, Chuck Greenlee was very easy to work with, no pressure tactics, he wal Annapolis that said, I purchased a used Toyota at this location. My salesman, Chuck Greenlee was very easy to work with, no pressure tactics, he walked me through all the details and extra's of the used Toyota I was interested in. I chose Chuck as my salesman as other reviewers had suggested he made their car buying experience easy. Chuck went above and beyond the sale even calling me the next day to to check on how the vehicle was working out. My experience with Koons Ford/Lincoln of Annapolis used cars was much easier than my dealings with Carmax and local dealerships with similar vehicles. The Dealership staff very friendly and accommodating. The only thing that I found off putting was that I came in with pre-financing from Bank of America and a purchase order this particular Koons dealership unlike other Koons dealerships I was informed does not work with BOA in these terms. Therefore I had to go through their dealerships financing department to purchase the vehicle. That said, the financing department did get me 1/2 point less than Bank of America but it wasn't a necessity as I had already done the work and was happy. My service provider, Earl was AMAZING! Brought my 2020 F-150 into the shop when it had only 30k miles complaining about a hard shift around 4th gear in my transmission. Was quickly told it wasn't the transmission but the larger tire I have and miles complaining about a hard shift around 4th gear in my transmission. Was quickly told it wasn't the transmission but the larger tire I have and needing it recalibrated and needed an aftermarket calibration done. Had that done and still had issues. Took it back at 70k and was told that it was now outside of Ford's warranty and the work wouldn't be covered by Ford. Even though it was brought in well inside the warranty the first go around. Was told my third party extended warranty wouldn't be honored by the shop and to take it to the deal I bought it from. So I dropped it off to the dealer who doesn't have a transmission tech and they informed me they are unable to replace the transmission because Ford put out a technical service bulletin that outlines they have a problem with the transmissions in their F-150's. Something you'd think a Ford shop would have had access to well in advance of a small town dealership. Highly displeased that Ford has issued a Technical Service Bulletin in which they note an point out potential issues with a transmission they've sold to it's customer. Further more Ford won't put out a recall to correct the issue at their expense! They'd rather let the issue persist and let their customers feel the financial pain of their mistakes. I'd love to have this resolved at Ford's expense and not mine. I dropped it off originally well inside the warranty and was never addressed properly and not I'm on the hook. This is so wrong in so many ways. More
