Wanted to say I’ve given Cobb another chance after a horrible experience a while back. David Cobb is awesome took the time to ask key questions on why I visited and got it done professionally. I admire horrible experience a while back. David Cobb is awesome took the time to ask key questions on why I visited and got it done professionally. First, let me commend my Service Consultant, Raven Hickman for her polite and efficient service. Conversely, I feel compelled to state that it is my third time arriving at this dealership and ignored Hickman for her polite and efficient service. Conversely, I feel compelled to state that it is my third time arriving at this dealership and ignored in the car for 5 -10 minutes, with service attendants deliberately pretending that I’m invisible. If you haven’t scheduled an appointment, no one wants to bother taking on an unscheduled appointment, even though the dealership states that walk-ins are welcome. It’s unbelievable in 2024 that people think it’s okay to treat people this way, but I guess there is a status-quo and culture that makes this behavior seem normal to everyone here. More
They have great customer service but there prices are little out there. For example I needed a new key, to have my car towed to the Kennesaw location cost $200 ( I live 10 minutes w) plus maintenance fee little out there. Raven was easy to deal with and a pleasure for this service. The service tech Norm was knowledgeable and did a great job fixing my Supra. The check in and pickup process however needs considerable impr service. The service tech Norm was knowledgeable and did a great job fixing my Supra. The check in and pickup process however needs considerable improvement. It is needlessly disorganized and inefficient. When arriving to drop off my car, I walked up to a service writer who was open, JC Cooper, and let him know I was dropping a car off for service. He said in a gruff and snarky tone "Where's the car?" I let him know the car had to be trailered in, was billowing thick smoke, and that for the sake of the service team I didn't want to smoke them out of the service writing bay. He gruffly asked for my info, looked me up, and sent me to another very occupied service writer who "had my service ticket". I had to wait for a very long time, maybe 15-20 minutes to finally be able to talk to this service writer even after having an appointment. This is a ridiculous and broken process. I had already called in and made an appointment and listed the issues with the car. All I had to do was drop it off and hand someone the keys. To require the customer to wait for a specific service writer, when there are other unoccupied service writers is inefficient and wastes the time of your customers. Likewise, many of the service writers seem as if they are actively trying to not help you by not looking you in the eyes or acknowledging your existence when you walk up. Similarly when I picked the same car up after an oil change recently I was handed the keys and told that the car was somewhere in the lot. After walking around the lot for 20 minutes and being unable to find the car I finally got assistance to show where the car was from the tech that actually did the oil change, not any of the service writers. This is quite ridiculous. This service writing department needs significant training in customer service and the process needs completely reworked to not be an unnecessary burden on the customer. I had a problem with my tire pressure system. Austin was able to diagnose the issue and solution. While on the rack the technician observed the rear brakes were in the red zone and recommended Austin was able to diagnose the issue and solution.
