This dealership sets the bar at the top for exemplary Customer service. I have never visited a dealership to buy a car and had such a relaxing stress-free experience. My Salesman, was friendly, patient and worked with me to find a vehicle to meet my needs. I am an X-Plan Ford buyer, but after test driving several Toyota's I knew the choice was obviously Toyota and purchased a Tundra. I attended the Beck customer Appreciation Clinic and was simply amazed at the level of enthusiasm all the employees I met exhibited. When my wife's car is ready for replacement, I know I only have one place to visit - Beck Toyota. More
My niece had her car stolen, it was a '98 camry. The insurance company gave her $3,600 for it. We were in a hurry to get another car. On Friday, we went to five different dealerships. We went in with all our cards on the table, telling people exactly what we want, how much money we have, (I had cap of $5,000 in mind). We were looking for a clean, reliable, good gas mileage car. I told every sales person that, and our price cap. Most sales folks really didn't listen to that, and took us to look at cars that obviously didn't qualify for that. It was amazing that after five lots, my conclusion is that most car sales folks didn't listen to our needs, and had an almost pre-planned car to show us... (most didn't even have the snow removed from the car, so we couldn't truly see it---can you imagine that??). I'm talking big-name dealers!! In the interim, we were emailing Wendel at Beck on-and-off, With his emails and phone calls, I could tell that this guy "got it". He heard our needs, and was working on that. He came up with the plan. We were just getting ready to sign for a used car at another dealership, when Wendel called on my cell, and said he's got exactly what we're looking for. Wendel said he has 17 years experience at Beck, ...when he said that, I knew we could trust him with what he's talking about. We we're on 96th and Keystone (a long way away), but decided to drive back to the South side and see it. Wendel hit the nail on the head. When we saw the car, we knew it met all of our expectations, and when we came back from the test drive, we told Wendell that it's a deal. He knew we were in a hurry, he knew we wanted a clean, reliable, good gas mileage car, ...he actually listened. I had to take my niece to work that evening, and we told Wendel we would be by at 10:00 Saturday to pick up the car. Wendell had it all ready the next morning, including all the paperwork, which was all perfectly filled-out. He walked us to the cashier, where we paid the balance, and then he took us to the car, which had been washed/cleaned, temp license plate already on it, and told us about all the features. Definitely went the extra mile. We were very impressed with Wendel. I didn't know much about Beck Toyota before, but I will definitely refer folks to Beck in the future. Rick Womble. Jan 16, 2011. Perfect all the way around and that's coming from a VERY PICKY car nut. The description of the van was right on the money. Wendell worked with me as far as holding the van so I could come in from Cincinnati to look at it - so I didn't loose out on another. Nothing bad to say at all......no pressure, honest and knew / checked into things that I asked for. I will keep Wendell's info and will be in touch in the future when looking for another used car. The service at Beck Toyota was truly great. I started out by viewing the used autos on Beck Toyota's website. The website has ye information I was looking for along with really good photos. After finding a car I was interested in, I called Wendell Dossett. Wendell was very nice and helpful in scheduling a test drive. After completing the test drive, Wendell walked me through the financing options. There was absolutely no high pressure sales tactics. Once a financing option was selected, Wendell completed the sale in a very efficient manner. In the future, I will recommend Beck Toyota and Wendell Dossett to anybody interested in purchasing a vehicle. More

I found a car on the Beck website that I was interested in. I sent a price inquiry on Sunday, and got a response that evening. I followed up with a call on Monday and was able to arrange a visit. When we arrived, the car had been brought up to the building ready for us to test drive. Wendell is an exceptional salesman and made buying a car a pleasant experience. Overall, the dealership is very professional with a friendly, willing to please staff. Meeting Mr. Beck made the experience even more special. We were happy to drive from north Indy to the Southside and would be happy to recommend this dealership to others. To date, the best car buying experience we have ever had, and that is saying a lot since we always had a GM employee discount and have many purchases within the GM family. Thank you. More

Quality of work on inspection of used vehicles is very poor. I purchased a 2003 Tundra, knowing it had a lot of miles, however they assured me that they did a quality inspection of the vehicle and all it poor. I purchased a 2003 Tundra, knowing it had a lot of miles, however they assured me that they did a quality inspection of the vehicle and all it needed was an oil change. 400 miles later Check engine light appears and according to Ed Martin Toyota records it shows that this same problem was reported just 5 months prior to purchase and nothing was done about it. I had also read online reference several recalls on the 2003, which I brought to Beck Toyota attention and they stated that all recalls were up to date. In actuality it had three recalls that were noticed by Ed Martin Toyota, one requiring the order of gas tank straps. More
