I went in to look at a 2003 Pontiac Vibe that was listed on the internet for $10,925. When I went in, I noticed there were many paint chips, there was a hole in the front of the car where it was hit and the on the internet for $10,925. When I went in, I noticed there were many paint chips, there was a hole in the front of the car where it was hit and the passenger power window was broken, it wouldn't go down. This wasn't disclosed on the website. After driving the car and talking to the salesman, he came back with $4500 for my trade in and a final price on the car of $7,500. This was okay, but I wanted to stay at $6K. I mentioned this and he went back to the manager. I finally left, it had been 3 hours and we weren't anywhere. As I walked out the door, the manager said if you want $6K, we can do that. I told him I would be back (I needed to get my son). I went back the next day and after looking at the car again, decided to buy it. We went in and got the paperwork started again, where they noticed a "managerial error" and changed the final price to $11,500. They had put the price of the trade in as cash towards the new purchase not as paying off the loan. So, I was shocked. They didn't apologize, just said, we need $11,500 to make a deal! Don't go there! More
My experience at Chryster Jeep Dodge Bellevue at first was spectacular. Yet, soon it all went down hill. I was informed from a friend that when he purchased his New Dodge 2500 from them that they gave him was spectacular. Yet, soon it all went down hill. I was informed from a friend that when he purchased his New Dodge 2500 from them that they gave him an amazing deal on his trade in (Nearly 4500 more than any other dealership was offering). They told him that his payments would be at $685 a month and he would be in a great interest rate, I had to go and check it out. I walked in and was met by a very friendly Sales associate (Which ones aren’t right?) and he asked me what I was after. I told him a 07 Dodge 1500 Quad Cab and all the specifics. Within one hour I was test driving the final of 4 Dodge Rams that I found were perfect for me. I selected the final truck a White 4 door Dodge Ram with the 5.7 Hemi and Big Horn Edition. We walked in the dealership and within 30 minutes I had paperwork signed, trade in paid off, and my payments were right at where I wanted them to be. Everything was great I had never been to a dealership that was this quick, friendly, and customer oriented. However all of this is a misconception of what is really going on and I got to the bottom of it and saw the true face of CJD Bellevue. One day later my friend called me and told me he was informed he was notified his rates went up nearly 8 points 8% and he needed to come in and sign updated paperwork. This took his monthly payments from his $685 Budget to nearly $800 a month on top of that the new paper work only showed his trade value at the payoff so they were no longer offering him the $4500 down from the trade in so his finance amount went up another 5k. When he tried to void the deal they told him his trade in had been sold and there was nothing he could do except sign the new papers. This gave me a sense of insecurity, however nearly 2 weeks went by and I had heard nothing except receiving a bill for my old loan (2 Weeks Later!!!!) Soon I too received a call saying that some changes had to be made and my rate went up a couple points and I needed to come in. When I got there I found my rate went from 8 to 17.5% through Chrystler Bank and they ran my credit EIGHT times. I was told my trade was gone and all I could do is sign the paper work in a very unfriendly manner from the asian manager and have my payments go up to 845 a month from 700. BUYER BEWARE, this place will tell you anything to get your trade sell it and lock you in at a rate, car, and payment you do not want. The better deal may seem good but it will not stay the same. After research I have heard other stories of this place as well. TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERER!!! More
Was quoted $800+ to replace steering rack that was by their words "worn" on car with 35k miles. Refused of course and went for second opinion... nobody were able to find anything wrong with the car. Now their words "worn" on car with 35k miles. Refused of course and went for second opinion... nobody were able to find anything wrong with the car. Now returned to them and asked to show me what was worn... after putting the car on the lifter they told me that everything is ok - ne replacement or any repair needed and that it was a mistake... Huh $800 mistake... Beware of these guys... More
