I bought my car new from this dealership. This was the worst service I have ever received. Mindy had service done that I did NOT request or approve. I scheduled online an oil change for $60. She requested 2 other services w/o my request or authorization. She never mentioned the addition. My final bill was $345. When I went out to check on my vehicle b/c it was taking so long she was arguing with a younger Indian gentleman with the same issue. He said several times, “ I did not ask for this.” She told him it was too late and he owed the money. My guess is she does this on evening appointments so there is no one there besides her when it is time to pick up and pay. Totally unacceptable behavior. I’ve never had this happen before. She said you signed the paper. I told her that I scheduled online and only requested the oil change. Her reply was “ everyone says that.” She said she mentioned the additional services that were suggested which she never did. I had just put new tires on the car and one of her extra services was a tire rotation which I obviously did not need. She offered a payment plan if I could not pay the full amount. Again, this behavior and service is totally unacceptable. More

Over the years and several car purchases, I have been very pleased with Toyota Direct. However, this recent service visit was unpleasant and traumatic. Most of my experience has been with the service department. The staff members are friendly and knowledgeable. They don't try to upsell you and, in fact, try to save you money when ordering parts department. The staff members are friendly and knowledgeable. They don't try to upsell you and, in fact, try to save you money when ordering parts and providing service. They'll even recommended competent, trusted third-parties for work when it makes sense. Also, it's easy to set up a service appointment online, and the automated system is good about sending email and/or text message reminders about upcoming appointments with options to confirm, cancel, or reschedule.
