I brought my Lexus 350 in for its 15,000-mile service, - francisrestauro
I brought my Lexus 350 in for its 15,000-mile service, even though the mileage was only a little over 12,400. Overall, the service itself went well. However, the complimentary car wash and vacuuming were done very poorly and appeared rushed.
I did not call Jeff, my service advisor, right away because I knew I would be receiving a service survey. The following day, Jeff texted to ask how the service went, and I shared the same feedback with him. He apologized and offered for me to bring the car back to have it cleaned again.
Unfortunately, bringing the car back just for another wash and vacuum was inconvenient, as I have other commitments. The issue is not the apology, but the quality of the work done the first time.
Management should address this with the cleaning team to ensure the job is done properly from the start. Whether it is due to lack of training, supervision, or compensation, the quality of the complimentary cleaning does not reflect the level of service I expect from Lexus. I hope this concern is taken seriously and addressed moving forward.
