(2) Our trade was a well preserved vehicle with low miles and we asked for what we felt was a low-enough-to-be-fair price, leaving what we believed to be at least $3000-$4000 on the table for the dealership. Tyler's resistance was unreasonable, to the point we were only $500 from agreement. He would not budge on that $500, despite the fact we bought a $70,000 replacement vehicle and also making money on the financing. The very next day our trade-in was on the lot for $15,000, double the amount they "struggled" to pay us. I know they're in business to make money, but that to me was very unfair business and he was dishonest to me about what they believed they could sell it for. Otherwise I would have given 5 stars. No wonder Consumer Reports ranks Lexus on top all the time. Best car ever for a woman because of Lexus quality and service you can trust that doesn't rip you off! Car loaners to keep your business going while car is there (washed and cleaned inside too) when it is ready and ETA is timely. Used Lexus are a prize too. I still see Lexus on the road, that look like my first one, and look new with great styling from the beginning.,,about 30 years. Those others have a name, but quality doesn't appear to be the same. Buy the Car Edition of Consumer Reports and check it out for professional, no compensation on-the-road testing. From mountain driving in the worst snow conditions, to recent one, where an old red car started a short-cut to cross a four lane street, at 45 mph he stopped right in front of me, I pushed hard on the brakes and Lexus held steady, no flip, roll, spin, (I had 'Someones" help) got around the almost T-boned fool, and kept on going to the meeting! Ladies...this is the best most reliable car ever and stylish image too! More
