What a fabulous experience. My daughter purchased her first car on her own. I was there to support. We worked with Gary, who been at Poway Honda over 20 years. First, he made us a competitive deal. That is all you can ask for with the high cost of automobiles. Second, he treated my 27 year old daughter as if she was his kid. No joke, That in itself was worth the purchase process with Poway Honda. I also want to through a shout out to Niki one of the managers. I'm pleased to say the service was just as good this time as the previous time. The service advisor was efficient, courteous, and listened to my concerns which were addressed during the service. We were very pleased with our experience in buying a 2026 Civic Sport Hatchback Hybrid from Honda of the Desert. Brandon was very welcoming and earned my trust when he said he chose to work at HOTD because salespeople don’t work on commission. I love that! I was Brandon’s first customer to buy a car from him via the Costco program. I highly recommend the Costco program if you’re like me and hate haggling. Luis, the financial guy, explained options but neither he or Brandon tried to oversell. In sum, I highly recommend HOTD and Brandon.

The only complaint I have, but is a big one, every time I service my car, there is a long waiting time to have my car serviced. I am perplexed why when you have an appointment, you are treated the same as if you do not have one, and remain in a long line of cars until someone can get to you. It took 8 hours to pick up my car on an oil change and battery replacement. I had a set 8:15 am appointment, I received a call at 3 pm to pickup my car. This late pickup caused me to have to cancel afternoon appointments I had scheduled. I should have been finished up with service long before 3 pm because I had made a confirmed early appointment so I could take care of other appointments I had for the day after my Honda service. Very disappointment on that long wait time for my car. FYI, however, my service advisor was great and did apologize, but again, the long wait time for my car, caused me to cancel other appointments I had on that day, Hoping future service appointments will happen on the time scheduled, if not, why make a set time appointment?
