At 9:00 PM the night before our scheduled pickup, we were called and informed that the vehicle had been sold to another customer. The deposit was refunded the following day. While the refund is appreciated, the issue is that a deposit was accepted to hold the vehicle and a delivery appointment was confirmed, yet the vehicle was not protected from sale. For a large franchise dealership, this reflects a breakdown in internal process and inventory control. Buyers leaving deposits should confirm in writing that the vehicle is officially marked sold in the system. Disappointing experience. More
