We initially went to the dealership looking for a Highlander. However, they told us there were none available, even though we later found out there were actually two. Right from the start, I felt tha Highlander. However, they told us there were none available, even though we later found out there were actually two. Right from the start, I felt that the trade-in value they offered for my car was way too low, and I also felt pressured into making the purchase. The whole process was frustrating. The wait to meet with the finance department was ridiculously long. At one point, I asked if I could go grab something to eat and come back later, but they told me no. Then, after waiting for two hours, they suddenly changed their minds and said I could go eat while they held my spot. When I got back, I still had to wait another hour before signing the paperwork. When they finally handed over the vehicle, we noticed it had several scratches—completely unacceptable for a brand-new car. They took it back to buff out the scratches and install the plates, which meant another 40-minute wait. When we were finally ready to leave, they informed us that we’d have to come back another day to replace some scratched parts. Then, once we got to our destination, we realized they never installed the plates. We had to coordinate with the salesperson to pick them up from his house, which was risky since driving without plates could have gotten us pulled over and fined. To make matters worse, we were charged $199 for door edge guards, but the car didn’t even have them. In the end, we originally went in to buy a Highlander, but due to all the pressure, we ended up purchasing a different vehicle. More
