Needed extensive repair to my Expedition, tried other dealerships and even highly rated local shop in Parole, MD area… all were a disaster and the typical money farms! Thankfully found Upper Marlboro Ford and Shane who quickly accessed the issue, game me the true no nonsense diagnostic, cost and timeline… and kept true to their word, no up charges or surprises!! Would 100% recommend Shane and Upper Marlboro!

Brandon Tobar was a great salesman. I called him late in the evening let him know I was coming from Jersey to look at a car. Brandon got off at 5:00pm but willingly stayed late for me. As soon as I realized he was willing to make time for me I knew I had to do the deal. I told him if they gave me X amount for my car I would leave with it that night. After negotiation with Brandon I ended up purchasing the car even though I got $1000 less than what I wanted. I really really did not want anything less than my number but after factoring everything in such as Brandon staying super respectful throughout the whole transaction even though I was not set on purchasing, staying late for me, answering calls from me on his day off, trying to give me as many deals and discounts as I could to ensure I was a happy customer, and happy with my purchase. He also willingly offered to assist with anything that the vehicle needed after purchase. I knew I had to make the deal. I left the dealership that night at 9:00pm, (4 hours after Brandon was supposed to leave). I am happy with my purchase, and I had a great experience with Brandon and Koons Ford of Falls Church. I would definetly come back in the future.

Curtis Ford & Cory Ford did a sensational job helping me. 1st Class service. The Best! I am leaving for a 12 hour drive and the light came on to get my oil changed. Without any hesitation, Curtis - Service Manager took me right in and made sure my car was in tip top shape before my road trip. They rotated my tires, checked the car totally and I drove away with a clean shiny car, new windshield wipers, new battery and feeling like the Most Important Person in the World. My Ford Taurus required a water pump replacement on the V6 Duratec engine. Today Nov 6,2025, had an appointment for 8:00am , came here, after 1h and 45min off waiting, they didn't even start checking my vehicle, I ended up scheduling another appointment with another ford dealership. Horrible customer service, choose another location, rude and disrespectful.

Was very impressed with the vehicle as displayed on the web and even put paperwork in sight unseen. It took an additional 4-1/2 hours to finalize everything. Upon arrival the vehicle was parked in front and ready for a test drive. While you would think knowing we were coming in that morning that they would prep the vehicle to showcase it in the best way, This was not the case. A layer of dust was all over the vehicle, making it difficult to walk and review the vehicle. While I understand that this is a used vehicle the passenger door was missing its lock actuator. (Dealer promised to order and install) The mirrors needed to be swapped out, because one didn’t work. The middle rear brake light was broken but operational. (Dealer promised to order and install) The rear door rubbed and made noise when opening, until I adjusted the door. The passenger windows glass is scratched, along with the trim. Again I understand it’s a used vehicle! The Carfax is clean but the front lights have scratches that are consistent with damage from an accident, which I am going to have to replace. There was no movement on the price and I left $600 on the table with my trade. While some will say that’s my fault you are correct. But the vehicle was not purchase ready. Which was disappointing. This is my 2nd used vehicle purchase and I should have done a better job reviewing the vehicle. I don’t regret the purchase. Just feel that with the items we have found after taking it home, that the price should have been adjusted to accommodate these out of pocket expenses.

In July 2025, shortly after purchasing a brand new 2024 Bronco, this dealership chipped the paint during emblem removal and did not disclose it. I discovered the damage myself. On July 25, they took the vehicle back to correct it. Before delivery, I specifically asked via text whether the paint had dried because the turnaround felt unusually fast. Vijay Krishna confirmed it was dry enough to reinstall the emblem. General Manager Lee Brooks also stated I would “need a magnifying glass” to see the issue because the correction had been done so well. The vehicle was delivered with the paint chips still clearly visible. No paint correction had been performed. The Bronco emblem was installed sideways in a way that partially covered the damage. Because work had been represented as completed when it was not, I withdrew consent for further repairs. I was later told the dealership would cover third-party paint correction. They are now denying that agreement and claiming the matter is closed after providing only $350 for “inconvenience.” That amount was discussed as compensation for the repeated trips and disruption — not for paint repair. No reasonable person would accept $350 to correct chipped paint on a brand new vehicle. Screenshots and photos are attached. If you are considering purchasing a vehicle or authorizing service here, document everything in writing. My experience involved undisclosed damage, representations that repair work had been completed when it had not, and a refusal to honor what was agreed.

Bottom line up front: Expect the bare minimum required by contract or law with sub par customer service. Poor experience with DARCARS in Lanham, Maryland and with national Ford Customer Service. Background: I brought my Ford in for transmissions problems covered by extended warranty. The service department did not correctly diagnose all the issues on the first or even second try. On the third try they finally fixed the transmission. I was not provided a loner and only received the bare minimum required rental assistance of 10 days, even though they had my car for 6 weeks (Ford logistics couldn’t move parts quickly), through Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years. To top it off, I had to move to my new work assignment in Florida while they still had my car. I had to fly back 2 weeks after moving to pick up my car and drive it back down. I’m a single car household so I had to get a rental for the majority of this time…I’m out a few thousand extra dollars in rental fees and flights now because their service department couldn’t fix my car on the first or even second try. And to top it off, even to get the $350 for the 10 days of rental assistance it took them two and a half months to get that to me. I wasn’t expecting 100% coverage of these expenses, but even an attempt at extra coverage would have shown some ownership for their service quality and some compassion/empathy for my situation. I have been a lifelong Ford owner and now I’m questioning why I would want to continue to do business with this organization at any level.
