I highly recommend working with Jeff M at Liberty Subaru in Emerson. I had an excellent experience. I made an appointment at the dealership to explore some Subaru Crosstrek options and Jeff showed me the many possibilities, including certified pre-owned, as well as the difference between specific used options that were currently available. I greatly appreciated Jeff's calm, gentle demeanor and his knowledge about everything Subaru. He spent time with me. I was not rushed. Buying a car from him was an easy, no-pressure experience.

Reinaldo was wonderful to work with. He was pleasant, friendly, respectful, and knowledgeable. He knew all about the different vehicles and worked with us to find the SUV that we wanted. He suggested we test drive an SUV that we thought we didn’t want. He never pressured us to buy anything. We took the test drive at his suggestion and wound up buying that very vehicle. We are very happy with the SUV. Reinaldo even contacted us after the purchase to make sure we were happy and asked if we had any questions. He gave us his personal phone number so that if we had any questions and the dealership was closed, we could contact him. When it’s time to renew our lease, we look forward to working with Reinaldo again and will definitely ask for him.

I leased a car from this dealership on August 28, 2026. I was assisted by Daniel Ruffin. I had a wonderful experience working with Daniel. I never felt pressured or like I was being harassed to make a quick decision. He explained everything and gave me many options and worked within my budget. He was professional, sincere and he was more like a friend giving me advice, if you can believe that. He delivered on all his promises and always treated me with respect and a smile even though I was tough on quizzing him back and forth on deal options. I highly recommend this dealership and please ask for Mr. Ruffin, you’ll be pleasantly surprised. He takes the bad taste of a “car salesman” out of your mouth.

December 26,2025 (Pending Snow Storm) One of the most overused phrases from a car salesperson is : “Our Service Department is the BEST!”. A pending snowstorm, like everyone else I depend on my car too much! Unfortunately, it’s towards the end of the work day and it’s an issue I can’t avoid. We all have certain family and friends that you have on “speed dial”. This is the sentiment I hold for Jamie Nussbaum and his wonderful staff at East Hill Subaru in Roslyn, New York. I made the call and Lisette answered. She immediately understood my issue and responded, “ You know there is a snow storm coming. You need to bring your car here and we’ll take care of it”. Lisette is another example of a true professional that takes great pride in her position. I arrived and was greeted by Service Advisor Justin Peralta. He did the intake and assured me the car would be thoroughly checked out and I would be updated throughout the process. In a short period of time, Lorrie Santiago came to inform me that my car was ready. Lorrie Santiago is always congenial, professional and laser focused on the task at hand. Lorrie’s area is highly efficient, the paperwork and fob were all ready to go. Lorrie informed me of what was completed, asked if I had any questions and personally thanked me for bringing my car to East Hills Subaru. Lorrie is very proud of this organization and it shows every time! Integrity begins at the top! Jamie Nussbaum is an extremely professional individual.His affect is always pensive yet gregarious in nature. Jamie’s attention to detail is reflected in every aspect of his Service Department. The amount of pressure with work orders, pending projects, emergency customer drop-ins could make this Service Department of “FRENETIC HOT ZONE”. However, to the contrary, Jamie’s strong but calming presence guides his ship through another day of success for his entire team. Philip Saccio and Justin Peralta are top Service Advisors. I’ve been most impressed by both of these professionals. These men take their positions most seriously. The initial intakes are thorough, the process is clearly layed out with potential cost and a clear timeline is presented. Philip Saccio and Justin Peralta assure me they are dedicated to success. The man behind the curtain where all the magic happens is Sandro! I call him the “Economist-Master Technician. Sandro always has a smile along with being extremely gifted. His videos that he takes of the work he performs are extremely informative. Sandro will always give suggestions to keep my vehicle at its peak performance. Sandro’s economic background is always integrated into his technical practice. It appears Sandro’s daily mission is to be the best “Economist-Master Technician” every day. Mission Accomplished Sandro! Finally, I have to acknowledge Jamie Nussbaum. He always takes a compliment and deflects to include his team. His conversations with me always demonstrate a pride he has of everyone on his team. I understand his pride in working with these great professionals. Dream Team at Bill Kolb Jr! (Danielle Aceto on the service desk, Chris - Technician, Alan Bass - Service Director) I brought my 2014 Subaru Forester in because I had a terrible noise, shaking from the right front wheel. The technician Chris quickly identified the problem, sent a video showing clearly how the wheel bearing was in bad shape and needed to be replaced. He continued on the video to show all the other parts of the car, complimenting the condition and pointing out anything to keep an eye on. He also told me that I would need an alignment after the new bearing was installed. Danielle on the service desk called me to go over the work and to talk about the price. Wheel bearings are expensive but in line with main dealerships. The work was done quickly. When I picked up the car I felt like the alignment was very slightly off, so I turned back to speak with Danielle and the tech. Within a few minutes Chris agreed it was slightly off, kindly took the time to explain to me how the alignment is done, why it was slightly off, made the adjustment apologized and I left very happy. It's so refreshing to do business with people that really care about their work and believe in customer service. I can't recommend Bill Kolb Jr enough.

I barely ever write reviews, but the experience I had at Island Subaru was so good I had to share. I recently purchased a used 2025 Subaru Ascent Onyx Edition Touring, and it was a completely flawless process. Henry and the sales manager, Engin, were absolutely amazing and worked with me to make sure I got exactly the deal I wanted. Yuri in finance was also fantastic—he actually managed to get my original rates lower, which made the deal even better. Transparent, stress-free, and highly recommended.
