Hello, On Saturday June 29th, John from CMA's Valley Honda Service was amazing. On a vacation trip up north, my wife had a problem with her Mazda CX-5 (Self-inflicted, the car is great). We live almost 5 hours away from that area. We had to get the car towed to the dealership. It was late in the afternoon and the typical time to fix the issue would be several hours, maybe days as per Mazda. I didn’t think it would be fixed that day, so I went ahead and made reservations for a hotel for my wife, daughter and puppy. I’m losing my mind because I couldn’t do anything from home. John offered to take my family and their luggage to the hotel if they couldn’t get it fixed. The service team gave my family something to eat, they made my family feel safe and in good hands. Obviously, the car was not on John’s schedule that day. Somehow, John was able to put 3 guys on it and get it running in about 2 hours!!! Another Mazda dealership told me it could take days to fix the problem. You have no idea how my heart felt when I got the call that the car was fixed. My family didn’t have to stay at a hotel! It was the end of the day on a Saturday, John and his team didn’t have to go out of their way for them. I can’t put it into words, how grateful I am to John and his team. Staunton, VA is lucky to how a dealership that will go above and beyond for people. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I am paying over 30K for a car I bought at this dealership, unfortunately although the sales department was excellent, I have tried taking my 5 month old hornet there twice now. The first time I couldn't get an appointment for over a week, so I had to take it to a dealership in North Carolina. They managed to fix the issue. The second time I had an issue I once again contacted Hall, I had to wait a week for an appointment. Today was that appointment, and I am very disappointed, they knew what the issue was before the appointment because I had to answer an online questionnaire prior to the appointment describing the issue. When I arrived at my appointment, I showed the service representative what the problem was they asked me to sit in the lounge, and they would start on it. I waited for at least an hour while they "worked on my car", only to have the service representative come and tell me "due to a slow internet" they were having a problem diagnosing the car I asked about a loner vehicle but they said there were none available, but they acknowledged that there was a problem and suggested I take the vehicle to the dodge dealership in Elizabeth City, who by the way is booked out until April. I will now have to wait at another dealership, who doesn't have a loner program. I used to be a hardcore dodge fan but this experience with the car (2024 Dodge Hornet) and the dodge dealerships have left me thinking of a Toyota or Subaru for my next vehicle, but I will not be buying any vehicle through Hall anymore!

Review for Ourisman Toyota – Fairfax, VA I’ve had two consecutive, unacceptable experiences with the service department at Ourisman Toyota in Fairfax, and after giving them multiple chances, it’s clear that integrity and basic competence are not part of their operation. On my first visit, I brought in my RAV4 for an oil change and to have aftermarket HID headlamp bulbs installed. They replaced the bulbs — but none of the four worked. What’s worse, the mechanic knew they weren’t working and said nothing. I was nearly sent home in a vehicle with zero functioning headlights. Only after I noticed and brought it to the service manager’s attention did anything happen. He confirmed the lights didn’t work, brought the mechanic out, and asked him to explain. The mechanic shrugged and said, “they do not work.” This was immediately proven false when the manager installed them correctly himself. Still, I gave the dealership another chance. I returned for the 60,000-mile service and asked them to replace one faulty OEM Toyota bulb. I was told I had to buy them in pairs — fine. I also requested they troubleshoot a potential wiring issue. The car was with them for two days. When I was finally told it was ready, I picked it up — only to find that none of the headlamps were working. Not the two brand-new Toyota bulbs I just paid for, not the two previously working HID bulbs — nothing. And, of course, they completely forgot to investigate the wiring issue. This level of incompetence would be bad enough. But what followed was worse: I opened a case with Toyota Corporate, only to learn that Ourisman submitted a response filled with falsehoods and outright lies. At this point, it’s not just about bad service. It’s about dishonesty, negligence, and a complete disregard for customer safety and trust. I won’t be returning, and I strongly advise anyone considering service at this location to think twice.

We went as we were looking at options to buy a Prius. At the dealership, we came to know they are not selling this model because of some recall. Beyond that, no one was interested in even giving us any information. After some wait we were told to talk to Omar as he knows all about Prius. But it seemed like he didn't know the difference between the Prius models and kept referring to an online portal. He appeared not to be hearing us and was just trying to sell us other models which they had in stock even after we had told him what we were looking for. And when we asked him to give us the buy-back value for our present Prius, he brushed us off with some logic that did not make sense.

I had a terrible experience buying a new Odyssey. It began with shady financing tactics when I was pre-approved by my credit union. Then, the Odyssey didn’t pass the pre-sale inspection so everything was delayed while they fixed a safety issue. After all the paperwork was done I found that they tried to hide damage to multiple areas caused by the shop technician when fixing the safety issue. Ray Morton was unprofessional and confrontational and had me wait past 9:00 pm on a Sunday while he helped another customer. It was a nightmare even after that with the replacement Odyssey and their office forgetting to register it in the time frame. They changed the Honda Service Pass terms without telling me. I wouldn’t recommend risking having a similar experience. There are lots of Honda dealers in the area.
