I was disappointed in the inspection of my vehicle. The technician wrote down that he checked all lights yet he did not have me step on the brake lights nor did he have me try turn signals. When I used to come in and I had an oil change, the technician would always check the air filter and let me know if I needed one. I don’t believe this was Dunn either nor did he say anything it’s disappointing.

My husband and I have now purchased three vehicles from Ron Tonkin Toyota. We've been fortunate enough to have Ali Rahima, one of Tonkin's sales consultants, each time. Ali listens, is not pushy, and has done his utmost to find the "perfect" vehicle for our needs. In 2915, when we decided to take a trip across the country and back we decided it was necessary to find a newer car with lower mileage (we had an older Sienna to trade in). Ali came through with a 2014 Sienna which has been a joy to drive. Reluctantly, we've decided to say good-bye to the Sienna to purchase a slightly smaller car. Ali came through again and we're now the proud owners of a 2019 RAV-4. We are very appreciative of the staff at Ron Tonkin (all those that we've met) and Jack Lord in the the service department. We are happy to recommend Ron Tonkin (and Ali especially) to anyone who needs to purchase a car (whether used or new). Very helpful salesman. Not pressuring, informative and searched out info when he didn't know it. Helped negotiate a trade in on a new Rav 4 Hybrid. The finance person, however, was insensitive to my time-frame late in the day and tried to "wear me down" to accept extra warranties with inadequate l o n g explanations, despite knowing I/we had a long way to drive home in sketchy rainy condititions. Took at least an hour and a half longer than it should have to get things finalized. Nearly walked out without signing the agreement. It also seemed the dealership wasn't always up to snuff with what was going on in other departments - such as a full tank of gas when I drove off in the new vehicle, but the salesman has tried to make things right.

Service Center is excellent, friendly and do a great job. The sales staff on the other hand are terrible. Went to trade up a vehicle 4 months after we purchased and they offered us 14,000 for the car we bought from them only 4 months earlier for 22,000. Car was still in identical shape as when purchased and we were buying a 55,000 Highlander. Walked out on the "deal" and will never buy from them again.

When the battery failed in my Sienna I went to J & P's for a replacment. Not only did I get charged full price(expected) but I was charged $20 for installation. They did get my $20, but they will now never get any more of my business.
