The sales team at Volkswagen of Downtown Chicago was such an awful experience for me. Led by Julian Perez, his team was rude, impatient and his associate Matt Kutyna called me after Julian kept avoiding me a an awful experience for me. Led by Julian Perez, his team was rude, impatient and his associate Matt Kutyna called me after Julian kept avoiding me and called me "hun" on the phone call which I found very off putting and condescending. They sold me a car that had several undisclosed issues. One being an accident that would not allow my car to be aligned properly and I had to put $3000 into it a few months after I purchased it. Also the antenna and roof were damaged and this caused the date/time/CarPlay to not be able to function. I now have to pay out of pocket to get that fixed as well. These are essential items in the car and I was told it was an issue with Verizon which was not true and told they could't help me. I took the car back to be evaluated and Julian got to an argument with me on the street and in his office and would not offer any help or take any ownership. Regardless to say the customer service was unacceptable and I will be reporting him and his team to Volkswagen corporate. I have been a life long Volkswagen customer and this experience was like no other I have ever had. Also when I left the dealership after my purchase the car was filthy with dog hair everywhere, barely cleaned and they tried to cover up an AWFUL body odor smell with air freshener. I had to have my car detailed for $300 elsewhere to get rid of the smell. I am so disappointed by this experience and urge any customer (especially women) to purchase your VW elsewhere in the Chicago area. More
