Overall, my experience was mostly positive. The employees seem earnest and are respectful. I was pleased with Monica, my sales associate. The only negative with the dealership was how the "out the door" price seemed to creep up a bit more than I imagined it would. Although this dealership claims no markup, there are still some--such as VIN etching on the doors which is not optional for you as the buyer, and costs $175, and a processing fee, (which I'm told is customary at every dealership). Then there was the 5 year "subscription cost" for the Subaru "Starlink" do-anything-from-your-smartphone, which I still need to get set up and learn about. Granted, I could have foregone that, but ok, I went for it. The end result was a higher price than I thought it would be, but likely still competitive in this era of car shortages. Then there was the person who processed the paperwork--I appreciate that she was very efficient and knowledgeable, but if I had purchased every added warranty and feature she was selling could have added another 4k or 5k to the price. I'm glad I turned those down. But be ready for some intense selling on those. On the plus side, I will be able to schedule a training session with someone at the dealer after having vehicle for a few weeks who will go over all the advanced safety stuff. That's a plus. Overall, I've had a reasonably positive experience so far, and would recommend Tucson Subaru. And I would definitely recommend Monica, my sales associate. More

He answered all my questions, explained available options, kept me apprised on the status of my vehicle, explained vehicle operations when I picked it up, and followed up to see if I had any questions. The staff at Tucson Subaru did an excellent job of preparing the vehicle and quickly moving along the sales process. They are also available after the sale is final to provide for continued service or orientation on vehicle operations. There was no haggling on price or wondering when my vehicle would be ready. We were pretty disappointed about the fact that they wouldn’t let my daughter test drive the vehicle we bought, but I understand the liability. Yet this is why insurance exists. Other than that she was able to drive the car off the lot once everything was said and done. No muss no fuss. She is the most happy girl ever and I’m confident knowing she is in a dependable, reliable vehicle. More
