Johnny was great in personalizing my car and deal, going above and beyond. It felt nice to not have an overbearing sales pitch and pressure tactics at the dealership for once. I’d definitely recommend Johnn above and beyond. It felt nice to not have an overbearing sales pitch and pressure tactics at the dealership for once. It’s an average dealership. Didn’t have as much flexibility with prices as they advertise. With that said, so far I’m happy with the vehicle I purchased. Didn’t have as much flexibility with prices as they advertise. With that said, so far I’m happy with the vehicle I purchased. More
**Beware of Deceptive Practices at Pat Lobb Toyota in McKinney, TX!** If you’re considering buying a vehicle from Pat Lobb Toyota, **DO NOT** trust anything they say. This dealership preys on unsusp McKinney, TX!** If you’re considering buying a vehicle from Pat Lobb Toyota, **DO NOT** trust anything they say. This dealership preys on unsuspecting buyers—especially first-time car buyers—using deceitful tactics to pad their profits. A young man in our family recently purchased his first car here, excited for what should have been a memorable milestone. Instead, it turned into a **lesson in dishonesty and manipulation.** After negotiating a fair price, the dealership **slipped an undisclosed dealer add-on package into the contract** without ever mentioning it. This deceptive fee—nearly **$2,000 more than agreed upon**—only came to light **days later** when adding the car to our family’s insurance policy. When we called to dispute the charge, their response? **"You signed."** No attempt to make things right, no accountability—just a half-hearted excuse that it would be used as a "coaching experience" for the salesperson. Meanwhile, the first-time buyer who placed his trust in this dealership? **Left to eat the cost. Pat Lobb Toyota is yet another dealership engaging in **bait-and-switch tactics, taking advantage of young and inexperienced buyers.** This is a **shady operation** that prioritizes profit over integrity. ### 🚨 **A Stern Warning to ALL Buyers:** ✅ **DO NOT trust anything this dealership or their associates say.** ✅ **Inspect EVERY line of the contract before signing—even if everything “seems fine.”** ✅ **Check twice, then check again—they will hide and deceive at every turn.** There are plenty of reputable dealerships that actually value their customers—**Pat Lobb Toyota is NOT one of them.** If you value honesty and transparency, **take your business elsewhere.** More
Noah was rude and impersonal from the beginning to end. Once vehicle was done, he handed me the keys and told me where my car was and walked away to his group of colleagues. He con He made the whole process of buying my new car great! He got me the best deal he could with what I had to work with and he is very personable. He connects with his customers and treats them like family, at least that’s how I felt. He took the time to show me all the cool features my car has, he was so patient and kind! Thank you Lex and Toyota for all that you did! I look forward to doing business with y’all in the future! More
Liked the purchase because it was what I needed, but the service was terrible. Cameron just sat there like a bump on a log until I asked something. He didn't explain anything unless prompted. The test route service was terrible. Cameron just sat there like a bump on a log until I asked something. He didn't explain anything unless prompted. The test route that they've had for eons is maybe a mile and you don't even get on the highway. I wasn't told that certain features on my side mirrors wouldn't work because they are towing mirrors. I was also given only one key/fob and was not told before hand that the previous owner did not give them more than one key/fob. I now understand that the state of Texas does not require dealers to give more than one key if the previous owner of a used car did not give them more than one. But I should've been told from the get go and every other used car my family has bought has had more than one key. And who knows, they may have another but are holding onto it to get me to pay $400 for one they have in the back. I've been told some dealers do that. The battery in my key/fob was low and I had to replace the battery within 2 weeks of buying the truck. When I picked up my license plates and registration, I was told by a male employee to smile. Extremely unprofessional and sexist. I will never shop here again and will tell everyone I know to never shop there either. More
