My salesman, Robert Bauman, a retired Navy veteran, helped me find and test drive the exact vehicle I wanted. Robert is friendly, honest, and a pleasant salesman who makes you feel like family. Linds helped me find and test drive the exact vehicle I wanted. Robert is friendly, honest, and a pleasant salesman who makes you feel like family. Lindsay has over 500 vehicles in their inventory, which made finding the right vehicle quite pleasant. I purchased a 2014 Chevy Silverado 1500, quad cab, LT model with the 5.3 liter engine. Only buy Silverado with the 4.3 liter engine if you really want the extra 2 miles per gallon and will not tow anything or carry any weight. I strongly recommend the quad cab with 5.3 liter engine and what ever model suits your individual preferences (work truck for the no frills driver; LT for most drivers, LT Z71 for drivers who want off-road suspension and the sporty look, LTZ for those who want more luxury, and the Country model for those with a lot of money to spend and want to be pampered while driving their truck). Back to the sales experience. I received slightly better than the "Love it Price", so this is possible. However, you need to do your pricing research before you go into ANY dealership to make sure you know the best price possible. This vehicle was only $102 above the best price I have ever received after buying 20 new vehicles (five GM vehicles in the last 14 months). So, you can get a good deal if you do your research and work hard in the sales room. I am convinced that the sales manager and general manager want your business. They want to sell Chevy vehicles. I highly recommend that every one who buys GM vehicle use the GM Mastercard to help build additional rebates for you to use every 2-3 years when you need to upgrade. Also, take your car to Car Max and get an offer from them before trying to trade it in. Car Max usually gives you a better "trade-in" price than any dealer. But I would never buy from them since they mark them up higher than most dealers. The business offer found me a great interest rate (based on my credit history) of only 1.99%, so I financed thru the Lindsay business office. Don't forget the great selection Lindsay has of over 500 Chevy new cars/SUVs/trucks ready to sell. They claim to be the number one Chevy dealer in Virginia. This is probably true. More
I went to Lindsay to purchase my wife a surprise sport car for her 50th birthday. Mr. Keith Seller met me in the car lot and he took me right to the car I was looking for. Lindsay had the 2014 Crystal Red car for her 50th birthday. Mr. Keith Seller met me in the car lot and he took me right to the car I was looking for. Lindsay had the 2014 Crystal Red Camaro w/sunroof and other key amenities that I was looking for. He explained all the features of the car and we went on a test drive. Within an hour or so working with Mr. Seller and Mr. Jon Johnson, we made a deal on my wife's dream car. I was passed off to Mr. Keith Offenberg, Finance Director, to complete the financial transition. These three were like a Dream Team to work with. They made the car buying experience a pleasure. They went the extra mile in working with me in order to help me keep this purchase a secret from my wife. I can't wait to present the Camaro to my wife. This is my first Chevrolet purchase and I look forward to a long relationship with Lindsay Chevrolet. More
I am completely satisfied with Lindsay Chevrolet. They are truly customer driven. I was looking at a Chevrolet SS sedan, which is a limited production vehicle as far as the United States is concerned. are truly customer driven. I was looking at a Chevrolet SS sedan, which is a limited production vehicle as far as the United States is concerned. I was given a test drive during which all the salient features of the vehicle were explained in detail. The colour I wanted was not available but Lindsay was able to find the vehicle in the desired colour in a few days and I took delivery shortly thereafter. I found Lindsay to be honest, most competitive, friendly and very professional. I would return to Lindsay should I need another vehicle. Additionally, I would not hesitate to recommend Lindsay to others. More

He's a great guy and will do everything possible to provide y'all the best customer service and lowest price with every option if possible. Everyone involved was truly awesome and stayed way past closing to give me everything I wanted for the price and payments I expected! Of course I'm sure no one wants to stay past closing but they went the extra mile to close the deal to make this a Win-Win for all of us! More
Keith did a good job in the initial walk-around of the car, pointing out all the safety features. It showed he really knew his product, better than any other car sales person I've met. car, pointing out all the safety features. Everyone has heard of the "slick, fast-talking, high-pressure, snarky" car salesman stereotype, and I had been rather fortunate that my dealings with car dealerships had been free from such an expe high-pressure, snarky" car salesman stereotype, and I had been rather fortunate that my dealings with car dealerships had been free from such an experience. Until now. (Guess the streak had to end sometime.) From the moment we stepped onto the lot until the time we left, it was high-pressure, distractions, and smoke-and-mirrors. We were not allowed to drive the car off of the lot at the beginning of the test drive, which was bizarre (this was the only car dealership we visited that allowed this). The sales person turned on the radio during the test drive, so as to distract us from listening to how the engine and transmission ran, and if the brakes made noise, among other things. Rolph E. Anderson of Drexel University's LeBow College of Business once wrote that "For many consumers, negotiating for a used car with a salesperson they don't trust is even more traumatic than buying a new car." He stated that one way for car dealerships to regain consumer confidence is "...by providing detailed information..." When we requested copies of forms we could study in making our decision to purchase the vehicle we test-drove, we were not allowed to read any fine-print - in fact, we were REPEATEDLY pressured to make a decision on-the-spot, without opportunities to research first. No sleeping on it; no going home to talk with your family about how this major purchase will affect your life. We had to buy, and buy RIGHT NOW. High-pressure sales tactics aren't illegal, but they are immoral and unethical. If the representatives of a dealership are going to be unethical with you from the get-go, how are they going to treat you once you purchase the potential lemon they are offering you? Is the sales person more interested in the incentives he will receive from getting you to buy a vehicle, than he is in your ultimate well-being and in creating a big-picture, long-term, mutually beneficial business relationship? We ended up buying a similar vehicle with cash elsewhere that was a newer model, in better condition and with lower mileage for a much better price; and best of all, with laid-back, honest, up-front sales people who were willing to answer our questions, and let us read the "fine print." Our reason for purchasing a vehicle was because of a total loss of our old vehicle due to a rather traumatic accident where I was hit and the vehicle flipped over. I got it that this dealership was interested in my business; but I was less convinced that they were interested in ensuring customer service after the sale by being so freaking pushy. I have enough stress from the accident, that I didn't need more by being coaxed into a high-pressure sale. The only impression I received after such a high-scripted, high-pressured sales nightmare was that whatever they advised was not going to be in my best interest, nor in the best interest of my family. Caveat emptor. More
I had been dealing with Kelvin Mitchell for a few months. I wasn't sure if i wanted to actually buy or not. Kelvin kept in contact with me just to see how i was doing and if i was ready to make that purchase I wasn't sure if i wanted to actually buy or not. Kelvin kept in contact with me just to see how i was doing and if i was ready to make that purchase. That really meant a lot because I felt as though he actually cared about my happiness. When the perfect opportunity hit he contacted me and i really appreciated him looking out for my best interest. I would recommend this dealership to others and especially Kelvin to represent them! He's awesome!!! More
I came into the dealership with a very specific budget and they got me the SUV that I wanted in the budget I set. Overall my experience with Darryl and Keith was the best I have had in a dealership!! Whil and they got me the SUV that I wanted in the budget I set. Overall my experience with Darryl and Keith was the best I have had in a dealership!! While the dealership is a bit far from where I live, I still plan on going there for any service work. Hopefully my first service experience will be as good as this sales one!!
