I purchased an extended warranty for my 2020 Chevy Suburban and was told the deductible was $100, but the paperwork stated $500, a clear misrepresentation. The transmission failed twice while under warranty, and I reported the problems multiple times before it expired, including documented texts and service visits, but their mechanics repeatedly claimed “no problem found,” ignoring clear evidence of a fluid leak from another shop. Only after the warranty expired did they admit the transmission was defective and refused to cover the repair. This is not just negligence, it appears to be deliberate delay and cheating customers to avoid honoring warranties, a pattern I also experienced with Lindsay Chevy in 2018. After I posted a bad review, I was called by the General Manager along with the service director on the phone. The General Manager’s behavior was very unprofessional and he screamed at me. On the call they acknowledged that my car had a valve body of the transmission problem and they made a commitment with me that they would repair it at no cost with a short term warranty with the condition that I remove all of my bad reviews. After I removed my reviews about Lindsay’s negligence, I dropped my car off twice and they are now claiming there is no problem in the transmission. As per their habitual cheating practice, they are now denying any issue. I am preparing to file a lawsuit against Lindsay Chevy and GM for their fraudulent and deceptive practices. Customers should be extremely cautious, this dealership cannot be trusted to provide honest service or competent repairs or keep their word. More

I purchased a car from this dealership today and there were good and bad. I spoke with a salesman yesterday and got everything lined up and the OTD which was good but not great. On my way to the dealership we called and asked for the link to the credit app so we could fill it out on the way and get everything moving when we got there. NOTHING was prepared when we arrived and the salesman who had called me 3 times today and couldn’t figure out what i meant when I said I needed pictures of the badges was shocked that I was upset. After wasting about 30 minutes of my time and arguing about me not wanting to do the test drive we finally got to numbers. It took another 20 minutes to go back and fourth. Since my wife wanted the car and we were talking about 2k I asked what the rate was. He said he didn’t have it and I would have to go to another office to get it. I told him if I can’t get the rate by the time I get to my number (amount of minutes I would wait until I got fed up) that I wanted my keys and I was leaving. Instead of getting to work he had the xxxxx to ask me what my number was. So I said 8. At this point I was so pissed I should of walked . The poor customer service had me floored. I guess he took me serious because the finance manager was out there in 5 minutes and was an honest straight shooting guy from the jump. He said he needed 10 minutes so I gave it to him. I watched this dude put the whole car deal together in 10 minutes and give me an honest rate. We were gone 40 minutes later. Hopefully you learn two things from this. The salesman at this dealership are trash and that’s likely a reflection of their sales managers. The finance manager If you get the guy is probably the best I have ever worked with. I made a walk-in visit to Lindsay Chevrolet in Woodbridge, VA on the last Saturday in April to get a VA state vehicle inspection before my previous one expires the following Thursday. I already had an appointment scheduled for the first Saturday in May for my 45,000 check-up and maintenance. Even though I had no appointment, the service rep said he'd take care of me immediately. Better yet, he said he'd put two people on the job so they could knock out the 45,000 maintenance at the same time. I was in and out in about 90 minutes, saving me 2+ hours next weekend. They also washed my vehicle. The whole team, from service reps to the mechanics to the sales people to the financing people to the cashier are always incredibly friendly and professional. I'm definitely glad I chose to buy my vehicle at Lindsay Chevrolet last summer! More
