Best Buying Experience of my life! Alfonso is a rock star!! I have been purchasing automobiles for over 25 years, and I have never had such a wonderful experience as I had at Lindsay Chevrolet in Woodbridge, VA I have been purchasing automobiles for over 25 years, and I have never had such a wonderful experience as I had at Lindsay Chevrolet in Woodbridge, VA. Even though they are currently in the middle of a huge renovation, the dealership was as neat and well organized as the Ritz Carlton! The staff was extremely cordial and made me feel as if I were dealing with family. Mr. Alfonso Brooks is a rock star!!!!! His superior knowledge of the automobiles and the products that the dealership sells is outstanding! Alfonso epitomizes true honesty, character and a great desire to meet the needs of his customers. Throughout my entire buying experience, he made me feel as I was the only customer in the dealership; he answered all my questions accurately and thoroughly, listened to my automotive needs and desires attentively and responsively, he truly valued my time, and displayed the utmost hospitality. Alfonso also knew absolutely everything about the car I wanted to purchase. He introduced me to all the departments of Lindsay Chevrolet, and ensured that before I drove off in my new car, I was fully integrated into the dealership’s service department schedule for future routine service on my new car. Now that is dedication to service!! Alfonso even had my car washed and detailed before I left the dealership!! I’ve had my new car for a week now, and he’s even called me twice to ensure I was happy with my purchase and just to see generally how I was doing. I wish I could clone this guy and have him on my staff in my office!! We sure could use his dedication to excellence! Mr. Alfonso Brooks is deserving of the highest accolades for his superior salesmanship, extreme professionalism and dedication to world-class customer service. The finance department at Lindsay Chevrolet is too great for words!! They found the best terms for me and financed me efficiently and effectively. They are the greatest financiers I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. I have truly found my new car buying home. I will always shop at Lindsay Chevrolet, and I encourage everyone in the metropolitan Washington to purchase their automobiles there too!! Keep up the great work Lindsay Chevrolet!! You’re the best in the business!!! More

Kelvin did an outstanding job of going over the car from bumper to bumper. He answered all of my questions and he was very professional. When I went to finance, Keith Offenberg did everything he could to fit my budget with the loan and really got my payments down. This is the best experience I have had purchasing a car. More
terrible service and price deception manager is arrogant I drove 250 miles to lindsay Chevrolet thinking that deal was done on car and all I had to do is sign paperwork when I arrived I found this not to be I drove 250 miles to lindsay Chevrolet thinking that deal was done on car and all I had to do is sign paperwork when I arrived I found this not to be true. Credit app was lost. Price quoted was not true price due to not qualifying. Even though several emails stating I did qualify. Then to be ridiculed by sales manager JJ. To the point he was within inches of my face as a threat. So I leave dealership. Trying to speak with GM which no one would tell me name. Finally after several emails and calls. GM. Paul Smyth calls me and basically blames me and my credit for the issues and since I won't be purchasing a car from him there is nothing he can do. There Was No Apologies From Him About The Manner They Deceived The Price And Also The Harassing Attitude His Sales Manager JJ portrayed. I asked to speak to owner Chris Lindsay and Paul said I didn't have to and there is nothing to be done and hung up phone on me. Overall very high pressure lying sales team and sales manager and to the point very aggressive and attitude to which it was harassment and embarrassing to me and my family More

I got a nice long test drive, I got an amazing price on a very nice car, and not once did I ever feel prrssured to buy something I didn't want or need. I only said no once and we moved on. When thecar came out it was in perfect condition and very clean. They even jumped in with me to help set up my On Star and point out many other features on the inside of the car. Not once did I ever feel like they were trying to rush through. They answered every question I had and we took as much time as needed figuring out monthly payments and again I stress,I never felt pressured. I would go back to Lindsay anyday to buy a car. I would highly recommend them. Five stars! More
Worst Dealership Experience In March 2014 I took my 2005 Saturn Ion to Lindsay Chevrolet because of the ignition switch recall. My service advisor was Diana. She put me in a rent In March 2014 I took my 2005 Saturn Ion to Lindsay Chevrolet because of the ignition switch recall. My service advisor was Diana. She put me in a rental. It took them four months to complete the recall. In the beginning of July on the first Friday I went to Lindsay to pick my car up. It took them 30 minutes to find my car. When I was walking to my car I noticed three deep large scratches on the driver's side rear door. I had that side of the car repainted two months before taking it in for the recall. I was too upset to talk to Diana so I drove home to cool off. I called her when I got home and she told me to bring the car in next Friday. On Monday, I was driving to school in Columbia, MD and as soon as I got on the highway there was a loud thumping noise coming from the front that increased with speed and when you applied the brakes the steering wheel shook violently. I called Diana about these two new problems and she said to bring the car in on Friday. I dropped the car off on Friday and was put in a rental. I was called by Diana a week later and she told me they have to machine the brakes and I have to pay for two front tires. I asked her about the scratches and she said that would be taken care of too. I have no idea why I am paying for tires because the dealer let my car sit for months even though their work order I received today says 2 months. So they are lying. I totally disagree with machining the rotors and pads too. They let the car sit and it damaged my tires and brakes. I had to call Diana to find out my car was done. Today I went to pick up my Saturn and I paid for the tires. They parked my car on the side of the building and there were parking spots in front of the service center. When I got to my car I found that the scratches were still there and it looks like they tried to buff them out. They are way to deep to buff out. The window weather striping was out of place too. They also put several new scratches on my rear bumper at the driver's side. To add insult to injury I got an e-mail from Sean Kim offering me $2100 for my car. Absolutely crazy. I am a retired disabled veteran and have been a loyal GM customer for 22 years. I have never seen a dealer show such disregard and lack of care for someone's car. The quality of work to my car is subpar. This experience is the final straw for me; I will never deal with GM again. And word gets around. More
1st New vehicle bought I was in the market for a truck for work and was searching the internet and saw the truck listed and called about the price stated and the person I ta I was in the market for a truck for work and was searching the internet and saw the truck listed and called about the price stated and the person I talked to then said that was the price. So when we got there and started talking the salesman started telling me about things I didnt get and gave me the new price and it was alot higher but after hagling I got the price I needed to be at.The only thing I am upset about is the truck was on the internet as having a cd player and when I got there and asked, I was told that was not an option on that truck and it didnt have one. I understand why they advertise the way they do to get the people there and look, it is a little shady I think. Almost all dealers do it this way. But overall, Tony did a wonderfull job working the kinks out and setting me up with a new truck. I will tell people about my experience and how well treated I was and How they treated me with respect. Very good experience and thank you all at Linsday Chevrolet for that More

Camaro to Go I kept my eye on Lindsay Chevrolet's website for almost two years waiting for the right time to purchase a Camaro 2LT. They by far had the best prices I kept my eye on Lindsay Chevrolet's website for almost two years waiting for the right time to purchase a Camaro 2LT. They by far had the best prices listed, and I also liked the selection of Camaro's that were always on the lot. (Most dealerships have the entry level options and then the out of range SS models, not much in between.) I visited Lindsay after having a poor purchase decision 30 days before, and needed an upgrade. Josh worked very hard to get the car in my monthly budget, including staying well after working hours and in the pouring rain. What impressed me the most was all of the follow-up calls and e-mails making sure that I was a happy client. With the coming renovations and great customer service, I would recommend the Lindsay team. More
1st Time Chevy Customer My wife and I were in the market for a SUV. We have looked at plenty of vehicles and we decided to go with the Chevy Equinox. Let me say that out sale My wife and I were in the market for a SUV. We have looked at plenty of vehicles and we decided to go with the Chevy Equinox. Let me say that out sales rep, Kelvin Mitchell, did an outstanding job. Not only was he very knowledgeable about the Equinox, he took time to answer all of our questions. He was very polite and he even entertained out kids. The dealership itself is full of professional people as everyone offered help, answered questions or provided my family and I with drinks and snacks. The sales manager, Johnnan "JJ" Johnson gave us a very fair price on our 2011 VW Jetta we were trading in. I have bought about 4 or 5 cars in the last 7 years, and today was the best experience I have ever had. I will be buying my next car at Lindsey Chevrolet! Rafael Webb More
TOTAL DISASTER!! -- Read before giving them your business!! My wife and I were sent to Lindsey Chevrolet from a friends/family relationship to look for a used Chevy Tahoe. We didn't find a Tahoe to our liking b My wife and I were sent to Lindsey Chevrolet from a friends/family relationship to look for a used Chevy Tahoe. We didn't find a Tahoe to our liking but we did see a Avalanche(73,000 miles) that caught our eye, so we proceeded to go through the process of financing and getting a monthly payment. 1st quote was $397(a month for 60 months)...... we couldn't do that much a month, so they asked us how much a month could you do?.... I said $350 is our max, well somehow they worked that out, so we were happy and signed the papers ..... We drive the car for 4 days and the Transmission gets stuck in 1st gear so I have it towed to the dealership (dealership was closed)...... now keep in mind we bought the car as-is ...... So the next morning we are on our way to the dealership and I get a phone call for the salesman asking us why the truck was back at the dealership... So I told him I was driving home from work and the Transmission locked up... he asked if I had got any kind of warranty .... and I said no ..... he said then I don't know what we can do for you but you can drop it off at the Service Department and see what they say... I told him we were almost at the dealership and we would see him when we got there.... so we pull up to the dealership and the salesman is out front.... we stop to tell him we were here thinking he would take us in and help us figure out what could be done... so we park and go to the front door and NO SALESMAN.... so we go inside and start the process of what could be done without his help.... Well the solution was for us to buy a 3 year service contract and Lindsey Chevrolet would back log it till the date we bought the car($2300 worth of insurance) ..... we bought it as-is so I wasn't really happy with having to come out of pocket with $2300 but I did sign papers buying an AS-IS car, so I figured we would get a new Transmission out of this and still 3 more years of bumper to bumper warranty ..... so with that in mind we sign the warranty papers...... we can't go without a car, so we ask if we could get a loaner?... they said yeah sure but we don't have any available right now but we will call you in a couple days and get you set up.... so we were cool with that... 3 days go by and we don't get a call so we call the dealership about the loaner.... still no Loaner Available, and they tell us if they didn't have one available by Monday they would set us up in a rental car( this was on a Friday) ..... so Monday afternoon rolls around and still no call from the dealership, so we call them and still no Loaner Available but they were in the process of getting us a rental...... so we finally get a rental later that day...... after we get in the rental, a week and a half goes by and no word from the dealership so we call just to check-up on the status of the truck and they tell us the warranty people were there and they would call and let us know the details after they left.........by the next afternoon we still haven't heard from the dealership and we decide to go to the dealership in person to find out what the warranty people had to say..... well they tell us the warranty people wanted them to do a break-down on the transmission to find out the cause of the failure and they would call us and let us know after they did the break-down and at this time they take back the rental car and put us in a Loaner car.... well we got no call for several days so we call to find out the details and can't get in touch with the person handling the service and that they would call us back later that day... we didn't get a call back so the next day we stop by the dealership to talk to them person-to-person and kinda get the run-around but that it was going to get handled, for us not to worry about it..... so another week rolls by and we call to check up on it, we find out that the warranty people denied the claim and they were going to go through another warranty company(which they would also back date to our vehicle purchase date).....after going back and forth with them over this for so long they finally tell us they are going to pay for the next warranty policy and get this taking care of and admitted to us that someone from their service department had called in the 1st warranty policy a week to soon and that is why the warranty people denied the claim! ..... the warranty company considered this to be a pre-exsisting condition....... so we aren't very happy but are ok with this because now it should get fixed and we don't have to pay for the warranty at all..... well another week goes by and no word from Lindsey so we call to find out the details and of course we get the they will call us back speech.... so the next day they call my wife and proceed to tell her that the new warranty people need the transmission broken down and to find out the cause of why it broke down, and that they needed our authorization to do so this time because if the warranty people deny to cover it we would be responsible to cover the break-down ($1300) ....... we say there is no way we are paying for the break-down, so they say for us not to worry about it they will cover it and get this taking care of...... now keep in mind that we drive by Lindsey almost everyday for work or to visit friends/relatives ..... so a week goes by and we see that truck hasn't moved from the spot it has been in (for 6 plus weeks) so we are done dealing with this because we are feeling like nothing is really getting done or should I say there is NO RUSH in getting this done and set up a meeting with their Public Relations person and we thought this would help or make things start moving to get our Truck done.....Well almost a week later we get the meeting and she listened to our story and said she would get to the bottom of this, because this is not they way LINDSEY CHEVROLET DOES BUSINESS ....... but after talking to her for an hour and a half and several people being brought into the meeting they came up with 2 solutions.... 1--- they just cancel out the whole sale all together and try to get us in another car.... or .... 2- they cancel the warranty contract(because they didn't think they are going to cover it anyway) and fix the Transmission themselves ......... either option we take they tell us that we could no longer have the LOANER CAR ........ Well after waiting 7+ weeks, neither one of these options sounded like an option we liked because if you were going to just kill the contract of the car sale, why didn't you just do that when we showed up 6 days later with the LEMON you sold us and saved US ALL THIS TROUBLE?..... and the 2nd option is back to no warranty on this truck (that broke down 6 days after we bought it), no 2nd car to get around with(we have 3 kids) for at least 2 weeks before we get the truck back and now we have to trust you to fix this truck the way it should be fixed! ...... so I look at my wife and say lets just nix this deal and call the Better Business Bureu and the extended warranty people(both of them) or even 7 on your side .... Well this INFURIATED the gentleman who had joined our meeting(that gave us these 2 wonderful options) enough to stand up and yell THAT IS IT THIS DEAL IS DONE, GIVE THEM BACK THEIR MONEY AND GET THEM OUT OF THIS OFFICE, I WILL NOT DEAL WITH SOMEONE WHO IS GOING TO THREATEN ME WITH 7 ON YOUR SIDE....... so after 7+ weeks of misery of limited contact by the dealership, and hassle of trying to find a solution to this whole nightmare of a car buying experience maybe this was the BEST RESULT we could have gotten!! ..... I do not suggest you deal with this dealership because during the whole 7+ weeks we got the run-around from 1 person to the next, each blaming the other for why it was taking so long to get done.......... and when nothing could be done they got ANGRY at US? .... You would think they would have been Very APOLOGETIC(at the very beginning), get us out of the current deal and convince us that they could get us into better car ASAP but instead we go through what we went through!! ..... so if you want to deal with Lindsey Chevrolet it just might be your NIGHTMARE story someone else reads!! .... I mean if this is how they treat a friend of a family member, then how might they treat you?........ I know my family will NEVER EVER deal with these people again!!! More
