I was not happy with my Service. I was charged an additional half hour fee for having a lug nut lock on my wheels and stated that because of the lugnut lock, it would take them extr I was charged an additional half hour fee for having a lug nut lock on my wheels and stated that because of the lugnut lock, it would take them extra time to torque down the lugs. I was a mechanic for years and dealt with this. it s possibly 30 seconds of additional work, and they SHOULD be using a torque wrench regardless. I did not used to use a torque wrench all the time, but if I did, it would certainly not take more more than an extra minute a wheel to put the lug nut locks on. The truck had grease on the dash, and not floor liner and grease all over the lugnut lock key which was put next to my gear shift covered in grease. More

The buying experience was easy but given a 90 day warranty with transmission issues was a nightmare! Our vehicle was in shop twice in first 30 days. Zero communication! I had to call multiple times a day just to get an answer. Manager “who was on our side and helping the situation” went MIA, to this day never returned a single call! We are new parents again with demanding jobs. We were left working full time trying to run a child to the sitter and another the other to after school activities in one car. We asked for a rental as our vehicle was still under warranty and physically just sitting in a shop not being touched for several weeks waiting for the Blue certification from Ford to approve the work, you would think we were asking the world of these people to make this situation better! Even our local dealership who had to do the repairs apologized and made it clear they had no affiliation with Koons whatsoever. Koons should have been our voice, should have advocated for us but didn’t. The person inspecting our Armada continued to “not show up” to do our inspection. We went without our vehicle for a month. The absolute worst, nightmare. We wanted to work with a business who put their customers first and this didn’t happen. We finally got our vehicle back and the work our local shop did was perfect but to have Koons have the Blue certification take care of the warranty work was terrible and to be honest, it felt like they were sitting on the vehicle waiting for the warranty to expire. What a shame. More
