This dealership took egregious advantage of a vulnerable, elderly customer. They sold my 84-year-old grandmother — who has dementia, no driver’s license, and lives solely on Social Security income — a 2026 F elderly customer. They sold my 84-year-old grandmother — who has dementia, no driver’s license, and lives solely on Social Security income — a 2026 Ford Escape for $34,000, financed over 84 months at a 23.8% interest rate, bringing the total cost to over $74,000. This transaction raises serious ethical and potentially legal concerns. When I reviewed the loan agreement and brought my concerns to the dealership, I was met with complete indifference. The sales manager dismissed every concern I raised and stated there was “nothing wrong with the loan,” even going so far as to justify the predatory terms by claiming “people are actually paying more than that nowadays.” This response was dismissive, unprofessional, and frankly, insulting. Selling a $34,000 vehicle on an 84-month high-interest loan to an elderly person with dementia who does not hold a driver’s license is not just poor business practice — it is predatory. The individuals involved in structuring and approving this deal should be held accountable. I strongly urge anyone considering this dealership to think twice. I will be pursuing every available avenue to resolve this matter. More

Brandon Tobar was a great salesman. I called him late in the evening let him know I was coming from Jersey to look at a car. Brandon got off at 5:00pm but willingly stayed late for me. As soon as I realized he was willing to make time for me I knew I had to do the deal. I told him if they gave me X amount for my car I would leave with it that night. After negotiation with Brandon I ended up purchasing the car even though I got $1000 less than what I wanted. I really really did not want anything less than my number but after factoring everything in such as Brandon staying super respectful throughout the whole transaction even though I was not set on purchasing, staying late for me, answering calls from me on his day off, trying to give me as many deals and discounts as I could to ensure I was a happy customer, and happy with my purchase. He also willingly offered to assist with anything that the vehicle needed after purchase. I knew I had to make the deal. I left the dealership that night at 9:00pm, (4 hours after Brandon was supposed to leave). I am happy with my purchase, and I had a great experience with Brandon and Koons Ford of Falls Church. I would definetly come back in the future. More
