Last weekend I had my rear glass shatter from the cold air. Colonial West Service department towed my vehicle to the shop, ordered the new glass and had it replaced the very next day. The work was done quickly and it was done well. However 94.00 for an oil change is not ideal. However we are paying more for everything these days. I decided to get my 2024 sticker at the dealership this year and when I arrived, drove up to the garage door near the Inspection Sticker sign and waited (this is what is typically done at other inspection year and when I arrived, drove up to the garage door near the Inspection Sticker sign and waited (this is what is typically done at other inspection stations). When the door opened and a truck came out I drove in, much to the surprise of one of the techs that entered from the Service Desk. He kindly and graciously explained that their procedure requires that I park the car and enter through the Service Department just as I would for appointments. OOPS! No matter; he said he would take care of it, sent me to the customer service area and in about 30 minutes my car was ready (and it passed!). I've never been disappointed with the service or the staff here and appreciate the peace of mind that I get when I bring my car to them. I also feel comfortable knowing that many if not all of the service staff have been there the entire time that I've owned my vehicle which tells me that the company is doing right by their employees too. It took a lot of planning and saving to finally buy my first EV, but I knew from the start I wanted to work with Colonial West Chevrolet and I couldn't be happier with that decision. From the moment I kne first EV, but I knew from the start I wanted to work with Colonial West Chevrolet and I couldn't be happier with that decision. From the moment I knew the Bolt EUV was on its way, I was kept informed about its arrival. From there I was able to schedule a test drive and before the night was over, I'd put down a deposit. Sean O Salem went above and beyond to answer every question I had. He kept me informed while we waited on the IRS to get their act together--and his persistence led to significant cost savings for me. I felt supported and treated with professionalism and respect. As an added bonus, I know I'm in great hands with the service department, too. This is my second purchase from Colonial West Chevrolet of Fitchburg and I will continue to be a repeat customer. More
