Honestly, I hate only leaving 2 stars. Parts of this was absolutely wonderful. The pricing is very fair, the selection is awesome. Customer service has be polite and friendly, albeit ineffective. I bought my car the day before thanksgiving and had it shipped to me. The day after thanksgiving there was a sale and it was for $1000 off the vehicle. I called and asked if I could still get in on that. (The worst they could say was no) They did say no, however, they said they would issue me a check for the $1000. I just had to wait for my car to be delivered and the expiration of the 7 day money back guarantee. I received the car on December 13. It was supposed to be shipped directly to my mothers house (as I would be at work) Delivery time was 2pm. No car. I finally contacted the delivery driver at 5:15 pm and he said he was broken down two towns over and he would be late. A few texts and phone calls back and forth, he finally said he would have to reschedule. I said I would get a ride to him and just pick up the car, which is what I did. These things happen. So I get the car and am thrilled!! Honestly, the car is great. So I overlook the delivery hiccup (even tho I paid the $399 delivery fee to get it to my door. Not a huge issue. 2. I am told I will have a $50 gift card in there to get the car washed since it is being transported. I didn’t, however the car is clean and the tank is almost full. Again, I don’t make a fuss. I have printed my temp tags, which expire on 1/26/20. December 20 rolls around and my 7 days is up. I figure I’ll get the check around Christmas or shortly thereafter. I don’t. I start calling after the first of the year. Yes yes. They are going to send the check but it has to go thru the finance department and they have to approve it. (Approve it?) So I wait. Call back. Great news, the check is approved on 1/8/20. They will mail it within 3 business days. (1/13 would be the third business day) no check. No check and as I sit here on January 25th, there is still no check. I have called multiple times for various reasons, however, I always ask about that check. Still no check. Also, remember where I said my temp tags expired 1/26? Here it is 1/25 and guess what I dalso don’t have. My tags. Now I received all the paperwork on December 27 (a Friday) I filled it out, got it notarized and shipped back out on the 30th (Monday) Per fed ex, they received all my paperwork back by 10:30 am on December 31. So, there was no lag on my part. I have called multiple times about the registration. They assured me it would be there. Now they are saying I am going to have to go to the bmv and get a temporary tag extension. The problem I have is that they initially issued the tag from Georgia. I live in Indiana. They will not extend a tag from another state (obviously). So as of Monday, I can no longer drive this car until I receive the plates. Which is being handled by some 3rd party so they have no idea how much longer. Honestly, the car is a dream. The customer service is very nice when I call. It’s just the promise of the money and the tags and registration. This is ridiculous at this point. More

Carvana made my car purchase very straightforward and convenient, and getting the car from a vending machine was a very fun experience! A good Way to buy a car, but there are Caveats This is my 1st purchase from Carvana . Overall It was good experience, but there's definately room for improvement. Regarding their website, the pictures are good and they note most issues with the car, however don't rely on the detailed descriptions. It seems they copy the car details from "templates" . In my situation the cars the rims were a completely different size then what's listed on the website. It was a surprise to find the Rim's are 2" Larger than factory - This impacts ride quality and handling and is more prone to flat tires and rim damage. They also didn't note the rims had some "Curb Rash" (meaning at some point they came in contact w/ a curb). It wasn't severe, but it should be noted so you know exactly what to expect. Carvana was great in moving the buying process along and emailed me almost every day and followed up with calls, however once they had all my info, contract signed and deposit, things quickly changed. They scheduled my cars delivery a week from when I completed everything, so I patiently waited. For almost a week, I didn't hear anything and the website showed the car was in transit, however the day before it was due to arrive, I received an email stating there was an issue and to call one of the Reps I knew at that point the delivery was going to be delayed. I was informed the "transport broke down and they had to wait for the next available", but I was told the next delivery was over a week away. "Stuff happens, but if the car was actually in transit and the transport really broke down, it would have been closer than a week away if the original ETA was 7 days. - So I have to assume the car never left it's original location. Regardless, I agreed to the new delivery date and patiently waited. Once again I heard nothing until about 30 mins before the car was due to arrive. They called to tell me "We don't have any trucks to deliver your car, so you can either wait until one becomes available -OR- We can drive it to you." Not wanting to be "Stuck" waiting the entire day, I chose to have the car driven. When the Rep arrived he was very nice and friendly and gave me plenty of time to look over and test drive. There was no pressure and I didn't feel rushed. He went over the car with me in detail. Other than the excuse of no trucks being available, the delivery went smoothly and I give high marks to the Carvana rep. Before the I signed the final documentation , there were some issues/concerns that I brought to the reps attention. He took notes letting me know someone would get in touch with me in 24 hours or so. Well, 24, 48 and then 72 hours went by and I didn't hear from anyone. I then sent an email asking when my concerns would be addressed and the response received was "What are your concerns" as if there was noting noted in my account from when the Rep delivered the car. We traded several emails only to find out that Carvana's standard procedure is for you to bring the car to a "Certified and Authorized Carvana Mechanic " which is covered under the SilverRock Warranty service, Problem is you have to pay a $50 deductible to do so and need to make an appointment which is difficult to do within the 7 Day Guaranteed Return Window. I definitely feel this is an intentional "Stall tatic" & obviously they want you to keep the car. Granted, a 7 day return policy is still better than you will get with any any used car dealership. Lastly, my car showed up dirty! I't can't be a result of the car being driven here, because Carvana's facility was only 20 miles away. It looked like they didn't spend much time on cleaning anything. other than running it through the car wash. The interior was dirty, the windows had smudges all over the windows. The passenger side front windshield was especially dirty, which looked like someone had their feet on it and the dash. In my opinion, any car that's delivered should be completely detailed. I have purchased many new and used cars from dealerships and they ALWAYS detail the cars before delivery. Overall my experience was good, however if you are expecting Carvana to rectify any issues or concerns before or after your 7 day guarantee, expect to be somewhat ignored, inconvenienced and possibly frustrated with the process. Would never use Carvana again. When I finally had car show up it had damage on passenger door from shipping, broken windshield and extreme damage to lower front end. Rep from Carvana stated it didnt make truck. Local advocate called and said car was actually there and had been made it on truck but had a flat tire. Car was supposedly to be delivered on Sat. Each day I was told I would get car tomorrow. Did not receive car till Wednesdaynight and only because I had a flight at 7:00am Thursday morning. Then they refused to extend the 7 day return policy. I did not get to try car during 7 days because I was and still am away. Only nice thing I can say is the local advocate Audrey was trying her best. Would not recommend this service to my worse enemy. Absolutely the easiest way to purchase a car! I spent a day going to dealerships looking at trucks never again will I put myself through that miserable experience again. I found what I wanted on Carvana and did the financing and had my truck delivered it was a great experience. There was no "Dealership Administration Fees" no "Window Tint Charge" none of the games and charges. I have told several people that I work with how great it was to purchase a vehicle through Carvana. More
