My mechanic initially thought the leak was just excess coolant draining from the overflow tank. But it doesn't appear to be the case as the coolant tank is low again. So, I have to make another visit to the shop. My temporary tag will likely expire on the March 25th before I receive my permanent one. That puts in me a bad spot potentially not being able to legally drive the car to work. I transmitted my tax receipt to Carvana on 2/27/20. But Carvana didn't get around to reviewing and sending it to the DMV until 3/11. Now it's going to be late and they tell me it's out of their hands. I do not have the ability to rent a car in the meantime to get to work. And it is unlikely to be able to get an Uber ride with the covid-19 precautions shutting things down. I live in an area where transportation options are not plentiful. What would Carvana do for me in that case since the hold up is not my fault? This has not been a good buying experience for me. 3/24/20 Since my last response, I've learned that my radiator has to be replaced. The leak is coming from the radiator. Carvana says it is confident in their 150 point inspection, how did this plus the strut and bumper damage get missed? I'm waiting for SilverRock to approve the claim for my radiator repair that was opened last week.
