Good Car, Customer Service ... not so much I am happy with the car and with the financing, which I suppose are the two most important aspects of car-buying. The system is easily navigable online, but the customer service leaves a lot to be desired. First, the customer service folks online are different every time, even though they use the same stock avatar. That was confusing as it took me a while to figure out why the same person (ostensibly) didn't understand what we just discussed just yesterday. The customer service folks never followed through on their promises. "I'll send an email about it first thing in the morning," I would hear over and over again. No email ever came. I specifically said to never call and leave a voicemail due to hearing issues. When I did get the communication how was it? Yup, phone call. Floor matts and owners manual were not delivered when they were taken out for a cleaning. They weren't put back, but I was promised them. Then, after much hassle, I was only promised floor matts -- no owners manual -- to arrive in 4-5 weeks! These things aren't big things overall, but theyre enough to give the overall experience a definitive thumbs down; I will not be recommending Carvana to friends and family. More

My car came as advertised, and even the blemishes were less than I expected. I shopped around at prices online, and my car was the lowest price I found. I will for sure use the referral cards that they gave me. Delivery was as expected, and the truck driver was very friendly and knowledgeable. More
My experience with Carvana was frustrating to say the least. I did enjoy that it was easy to find a vehicle that I liked, select it and initiate the deal. But, that is where the ease ended. I had to go back and forth on documents I submitted to them because of how my middle name was spelled (wouldn’t fit within max characters allowed) and finally had to tell them the deal would be off if What I submitted didn’t work. They showed me documents that the car had passed a “150” point inspection and then 2 days before the car was to be delivered they called me and told me they discovered the car “needed a new clutch” and it would be delivered at an unknown date. After talking with about 5 more customer service reps which were unhelpful I got a call from an “account executive “ which had less information about the car than the customer service reps. Flash forward another week and the expense of paying insurance on the vehicle I didn’t currently have, I finally received the car. It was 80% accurate as what was advertised but there was A LOT of under body rust which was not advertised. I even found a tag under the seat where someone had noted “lots of rust with a frowning face”. After the giant headache I dealt with to actually get the car in the first place I decided the frustration of going through the whole process again was too much. I happen to be mechanically inclined so I will just replace the parts that need replacing from rust, namely tie rod ends and wheel bearings and just move on. For the most part I enjoy the Jeep and it will be a “toy” in the next year so I will have the time to repair the rust and apply preventative but I definitely don’t feel like I got a good deal. I’ll end up fixing everything on my dime with nothing from Carvana but a car that was not “truthfully advertised”. I guess it was easy to have someone bring me the car during the COVID era but I don’t think I’ll use Carvana again or recommend them. If you can’t trust the product they are selling you at a distance and then be accommodating when things aren’t up to par I don’t see the value in The service they’re selling. More
