My delivery driver was amazing! Loved her! Most of the staff was above average. The reason for four stars is my delivery was delayed twice and it took 3 weeks to get my car and even after I had a broken v staff was above average. Even with delivery postponed the delivery fee was not waived and no other compensation offered, But the staff made up for it with their helpfulness and attentiveness. I received an email at 12:50pm, the day before my car was to arrive, requesting updated insurance information. The email stated it needed to be completed by 2:00pm or the car would not arrive the next day. The email was sent while I was at work and I couldn't check personal email. The delivery was automatically reschedule for nine days later because I missed the email. After three calls and two hours on the phone that night, I was able to speak to a supervisor in Arizona who was able reschedule my delivery for the correct arrival day. More

Carvana allowed me to find the right car with the right features and purchase in the easiest process I’ve ever experienced. I’ll be purchasing from them again in the future. UPDATE: It's now been 2 months, and I still have not gotten my state registration and plates. They keep telling me that it is COVID related, though others I know that bought locally are driving legally. My out of state paper plates are expired. There is no amnesty here, and Sheriff has pulled us over. Just a few days ago, Carvana finally reached out by email telling me that I have to have the vin verified per the State of California, and get a smog test. These are things that the dealerships typically do. I had to take a half day off work, spend 3 hours getting this information and spending an additional $115 after waiting in long lines during a pandemic. This "touchless" slogan is BS. I likely was around more people during this process than had I gone to a dealership. I only rushed because my wife has to go out of state in the car. There is still no word on the plates, and I just spent 30 minutes trying to get someone on the phone only to have them tell me that there is nothing they can do. I asked to see if the temp plates from GA could be extended? No. Could they get me temp plates from CA? No--I'd have to wait in line for hours again in order to see if CA can do that. They received the FedEx of documents they just requested this morning and state that they are still unsure as to when I'll get my plates. I'm told that police are being understanding. They are not, and I do not feel comfortable having my wife drive 2200 miles from California to Texas with expired plates. Some of us try to adhere to the law, especially when buying a newer car. If I'd wanted to be driving illegally, I'd have saved $25k and bought a crappy car. What started as a wonderful buying experience due to convenience has turned out to be a nightmare. I will never buy from them every again. More

I will try to make this as short as possible. Keep in mind this is also specific to the Tesla Model 3 I purchased. You might have a better experience with some other make. First everyone I talked to or dealt with at Carvana was super nice and friendly, that's why I gave them an extra star. Unfortunately they were also useless at actually DOING anything about all the issues I had. Plus every time you call or chat with them it's at MINIMUM 30min wait time. Let me start by saying a brand new Model 3 with the same options as the one I purchased from Carvana sells for just under $50k. Carvana was selling what I thought was a 2018 Model 3 with 2k miles for $45,500. Not a amazing deal, but the car does hold it's value so not horrible. However the car ended up actually having 11,500 miles. It was also damaged during transport to me, they did not provide pics or documentation of what repairs were made when I requested it. Finally once I received it I found out that although autopilot is a standard feature on all new Model 3s it is an option I would have to purchase on this one from Tesla for $3k. So this used Tesla with unknown damage and an extra 9,500 miles is now $48,500. In addition there was damage to the driver seat (which online just looked like it was a little dirty). They apologized for all the issues but did absolutely nothing to fix the seat, help me secure the autopilot, nothing. Let me say this whole process was over the course of about a month between me trying to find one that wasn't pending sale, having to go back and forth with them at a snails pace, them damaging the car and having to get it repaired etc. So I have a lot of time and energy invested in this transaction. In addition I had a trade in for which I now lost many of the offers I had for it before selling it to Carvana. For all those reasons I decided to just keep the car and hope maybe Tesla can help with the seat issue. All this could have been avoided if I had just bought it from a local dealer. I could have verified it had autopilot, seen the damaged seat and the correct mileage in 5 minutes on the lot and just walked away right then and there. Or for just $1,500 more I could of just purchased a brand new one. I would definitely not recommend buying a Tesla from them. These cars have a lot of features that Carvana has no idea about and trying to get them to verify vehicle features is almost impossible. In addition I have noticed they are selling many of the standard range Model 3s for MORE than you can go buy a brand new one directly from Tesla for. Do your research so you don't end up wasting a bunch of time and money like I did. More

The car is decent and the process was much more pleasant than dealing with a dealership. However there are several small dings and scratches that were not mentioned or pictured in the listing and the only than dealing with a dealership. Not the best experience. Had I known about the imperfections prior to ordering I probably would not have minded and still purchased, but it was not a great experience to find out only when the car was delivered and not being offered any option but to refuse the vehicle.
